Basilur Tea Coffee is such a lovely spot! The pancakes were absolutely delicious—fresh, fluffy, and perfectly made. You can really taste the quality and care in the food. A great place to relax and enjoy a wonderful treat. I’ll definitely be back! ✨

Of all the times I’ve been at the Source, I never realized there was a pretty spacious cafe tucked on the corner of the first floor that serves soufflé pancakes! Thanks to my friend’s suggestion, we tried our first taste and enjoyed it all!
I am a sucker for matcha so after some thought, I ordered the matcha soufflé pancakes. I originally went for the hazelnut latte, but the large iced ube latte on the menu caught my eye right as I was ordering so I made a last minute switch. The drinks come in a plastic to-go cup by default (I guess in case you don’t finish your drink, you can just take it with you), but you can request for their glass containers instead, which I was happy about and requested for my latte.
Order first at the counter and they’ll give you a number stand to take as you choose where you want to sit. Our soufflé pancakes came out pretty quick and gosh, were they delicious! The last time I had soufflé pancakes was several years ago and it wasn’t really good, as the business was probably rushed to make them during a busy day. Basilur’s soufflé pancakes were as fluffy as a pillow, not too sweet, and all around delicious. An order comes with a stack of two and the portion size was just enough to keep me 85% full. My ube latte looked very aesthetically pleasing with the purple to white color gradient before I mixed my drink. It was pretty delicious too, though there must have been something in it that made my stomach hurt later in the day (oh no, I hope I’m not becoming lactose intolerant!).
Not much wait during the Saturday brunch visit, but it could also be due to the really hot heatwave weekend. Plenty of parking in the Source’s covered parking structure!

Had the pleasure of trying the brunch menu at this establishment and I must say, the fluffy pancake was quite delightful. Although I would have preferred a larger serving size, the taste was spot-on. I’m already looking forward to my next visit where I plan to sample some of the other items on the menu. The cozy atmosphere of the place really added to the overall experience and I left feeling satisfied and content. I would definitely recommend giving this spot a try!

Beautiful little place with tea lining the walls! Staff was very nice and informative, seating was really comfy and I really enjoyed our food, we had the ube waffle and the avocado toast. My only note was that the ice cream was a bit crunchy with ice? But it tasted fine. The avocado toast was really filling and the egg was poached perfectly!

The food was great and the service was fast. I was looking for the Tiramisu Souffle pancake but they did not have it. We got the Banana Souffle pancake and Strawberry Souffle pancake. I was surprised with the souffle pancakes, they were so soft and fluffy. The icing or cream they put on it was not too sweet, it was just right. The Matcha Strawberry tea was also good.

Lovely tea house with a variety of food items. We came for lunch and enjoyed the eggs Benedict, ham and cheese croissant
Delicious Ube latte.
I would definitely like to come back and try other drinks and pancakes.
Looking forward to returning very soon.

Finally gotten around to reviewing one of my go-to dessert places. Love their soufflé pancakes and ube waffles. Although this visit the waffle was more crunchy and toasted, rather than waffley (soft inside and slightly crispy on the bites), so it was rather difficult to chew.
Tried the ube latte for the first time and it was actually pretty good. Most ube lattes I’ve had fail to capture the ube flavor and tend to taste very starchy. Basilur seems to have this drink down, but I’ve only had it this first time so can’t say about consistency like I can with the waffles.
The soufflé pancakes has always been consistently delicious with every visit.

I must preface this review by stating I am not a fan of pancakes. Some friends were in town and wanted to try this spot so I had to be the good tour guide and oblige. The souffle pancakes were only slightly better than regular pancakes in my opinion. It really just felt like the batter was undercooked and mushy. Not worth the hype if you ask me. Also, this place is a bit on the pricey side and the orders take time to prepare. And the coffee was horrible. About the only thing I liked was how they decorated the space. Felt like a posh tea room in London.

This place? No taste. Mango Pineapple was bland as heck.
One sip, and my friend didn’t know what to think. He wasn’t excited with what he ordered –a red-hot ginger, but it came iced, and it was somehow sour?
Souffle is fluffy and giggly indeed, that’s about it, but sort of bland and boring except for the cream on top with caramel. The bananas on the side were what gave it some flavor.
BUT, it’s got an interesting environment. The music however, doesn’t match the environment.
Overall, not satisfied.

We went on Easter and it was delicious! Very good food and tea and the soufflé pancake was really unique and delicious, I definitely want to try it again in different flavors as well (I got caramel last time). My only criticism would be that the tea time set that I took a picture of needs more savory items rather than the amount of sweets it has. It would be nice to maybe add a few more small finger sandwiches and have less cheesecake/macaroons. The cakes were delicious but it’s nice when it’s balanced out and not all sweets. I would definitely come again though! Everything tasted great and the environment is really nice inside.
