So, for sure ordered way more than what I remembered to take a picture of. My father ordered the wings with the dry rub. He informed me that they were absolutely delicious. We ordered the jalapeno artichoke dip, deviled eggs, gnocchi, and brussel sprout pizza. To drink, my mother had the strawberry mojito, and I had the old saint, which is their version of an old fashioned.
LET ME TELL YOU… I had zero expectations of this place. My mom suggested it, since it was newly opened in the area. I currently reside in Los Angeles so finding food that lives up to my tastes tends to be annoying and difficult. THIS PLACE IS SPECTACULAR. We ordered so much food for the three of us and it didn’t break the bank and the food was fantastic. GET THE DEVILED EGGS. You will not be disappointed.

I had dinner here Sept 14, 2021 with my wife. We have not been here before and came in an hour before close. Our waitress was awesome! He answered all our questions and made great suggestions. The food came out hot and fresh. I will absolutely come back again! I just wish I remembered our servers name!

Let’s start with prices. They are up there, but it’s not going to kill your wallet for two. I have never seen a restaurant do deviled eggs before so I was curious. I’ll tell you right now to just make them at home, they tasted alright but had an overwhelming hit of greens. I ordered the Taco Trio and went with the teriyaki beef, chicken, and the Cajun shrimp. The shrimp was not great. In Ohio you don’t get the best seafood but when you do you know it’s real. Rubbery with spices thrown on and a hint of that burnt taste with the store bought brands. The chicken was not too bad but the beef was the best. The rice and flavoring was perfect! 3 out of 5 for trying new places.

Went for an early dinner and tried the truffle fries, very good!! The shrimp Cajun pasta was pretty good and so was the lobster shrimp cavatappi. Nothing spectacular but would probably go back another time.

Basil’s has great food. This is the second time we have been to this location and not ordered anything. This time was a miscommunication about Taco Tuesday. We came at lunch time and the special starts at 4 PM. Too late for us. We left. It seems that a change in policy about Taco Tuesday would be good for business. We were the ONLY patrons at this location and then we left without ordering.
We came here again and will not return. They have no patrons and would not allow our party of six to sit on the patio. They said they can’t move the tables. There’s no one out there and the tables are in disarray. The downtown location already closed and this one seems on its way too.
