Honestly a very pitiful excuse for a restaurant. My wife loved the place at one time so we went for my first trip and what will be the last trip for both of us.
The waitress was nice but spent more time focusing on a table that came in after us.
The portions were small (4 cheese ravioli for $7), the Mama’s pasta was bland and to get garlic bread at lunch you have to ask for it.
I never visited the old location or management but it sounds like new owners will kill this spot soon and if this is their business model they deserve it.
It’s the only time I’ve ever just laid money on the table and walked out of a restaurant in my life.

Wonderful, casual atmosphere and owner / chef was very personable and sat down to visit. The food. It was some of the best pasta ever! Try Mamas. All staff super friendly and all pitch in. Totally worth the short drive off the interstate for amazing local business and very reasonably priced. Enjoy!

The atmosphere was great! The food is amazing. The portions given will fill you up, but get the desert anyway because it’s just delirious. I had a side salad chicken fettuccinei alfredo and tiramisu. The chef will come out an greet you and its really nice. Great costumer service. The background music is fitting. The layout is beautiful. 100% worth the price. I hear the chicken Parmesan and eggplant Parmesan are delicious as well.

Food is amazing, sauce is tasty and the pasta is cooked to perfection every time. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is the music and the layout. It is a little awkwardly arranged and the music is very “Italian”, wouldn’t be too bad if they broke it up or turned it down…

Great food and great atmosphere! The food was all cooked perfectly and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. After our meal, the chef/owner came over and had a great conversation with us. Very personable and interested in our experience.

I use to eat here once a week. I had been working a little and have not had the chance to visit in a few weeks. Today I got the chance to get the famous mama’s pasta and was physically sick. I should have known to leave when I heard chef Richard was no longer there. The story is he “sold ” it to his son. My father would never sale me anything to “travel”. He would give it to me. Anyhow the food was terrible. My wife sent a steak back three times. If you are in corbin wanting pasta go to any Mexican restaurant do not stop at Basil’s. I’m sad to report it isn’t worth the money. 51 dollars for food you can buy at krogers.

One of the most overrated and over priced places i’ve ever been. The food is ‘good’ but most of which you could easily recreated in your own kitchen. The serving size’s on most dishes are a joke and like i said over priced. I have no clue why so many people act like this is such a great place. A joke compared to the likes of Olive Garden or even Fazoli’s.

1st time we ate there I had Fettucini Alfredo with chicken. Excellent! 2 nd time (just last week) I had Mama’s pasta. I thought I’d died and gone to Italy! No “sauce” to speak of; crushed tomatoes, olive oil and fresh herbs and spices. Perfect!

Best food in town! If you’ve never been try the sampler platter. Mama’s pasta was my winner. Love this place great for a date or family gathering.
