This restaurant was great! The decorations are very nice and the waiter was funny and friendly. I ordered lasagna and my mother ordered the salmon. The food was delicious. I loved the sauce in my lasagna; they used plenty of meat and very flavorful, unlike the bland ground beef you get at other places. The lasagna ingredients were well balanced with a good mixture of cheese. I had a great experience here and would recommend it!

Absolutely charming Italian spot with an immersive, cozy atmosphere — real grapevines outside and a dim, romantic vibe that makes you feel like you’re in Italy. The complimentary bread was warm, garlicky, and fresh.
The steak was perfectly seasoned with a rich mushroom sauce. But steak cut was slightly above average but very well prepared. The tomato soup was wholesome and comforting (would’ve loved some fresh basil on top). The bruschetta was good and would have also liked more fresh basil for depth. Family-owned with a welcoming feel, and prices were reasonable.

We had the most wonderful experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Amari. He was an absolute gem—genuinely kind, attentive, and took the time to actually talk with us and get to know us. His warmth and authenticity made us feel truly welcomed, not rushed, and completely taken care of. The service was beyond exceptional and turned an already great visit into a truly magnificent experience. He is the kind of server who makes you want to come back again and again. I will absolutely be requesting him as my server every time I visit! Wonderful to meet you Amari!

Wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of Dixon. Stopped by on impulse and ordered the traditional carbonara. This order was to go, so I enjoyed a cold beer at the beautiful bar while waiting. The staff was warm and friendly. Enjoyed the dish at home and the carbonara was superb.. Thank you.

The place was small and kind of romantic. It’s a great place to take a date, in my opinion. The service was great, the portions were pretty good. We got fresh bread to start and we ordered the brucheta, which doesn’t have any tomatoes and was delicious. One entrée was a chicken marsala with potatoes, and it was very good also. The potatoes were cooked to perfection. The second entrée was a build your own pasta with chicken, vegetables, and spaghetti and was really great too. We will definitely be going back.

Obviously this place is super popular with sold out tables for hours. We were invited to dine at the bar and that was a great decision. Megan took care of us and made us feel at home, she is awesome. The food and drinks are delicious and the staff was very friendly. Megan even let us know there might be a tapas style dinning experience coming to the super amazing outdoor section. Would be so excited to try that and to rerun this restaurant again, thank you for a wonderful experience!

We really had a wonderful time and had the best Linguini and Clams in many years. NB might want to Keep this little Chicago hide away a secret if you want a table though the food owner and ambience is a perfect romantic evening or just a normal family night out of this mad covid mess I felt very safe and clean here so tell everybody about the great food

Very nice Italian restaurant with really nice atmosphere. Historic building with fun hidden downstairs private dining space. Owner is wonderful. Food is fantastic!! Great find in our travels.
