Excellent first experience. Went here with my Fiancé for the first time and everything was great. As expected, on a late Sunday evening, the place was very slow. Only 5-6 other parties. That made for zero wait time and exceptional service.
We ordered way more than we could eat, for the purpose of tasting multiple items offered.
Started with the spring rolls and dumplings. Very flavorful and fresh tasting. *not pictured we also tried a Crunch Roll that was just as great as the rest. The Pad Thai and Curry both were very flavorful. Meat tasted real and fresh, not rubbery, overcooked or old. Quiet and warm atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We stopped in here for lunch over the weekend in downtown Brunswick.
The place has more ambiance than we were expecting. Quick service and good food.
We ordered the basil chicken and the Thai fried rice from the lunch menu. Both were quite good, but there were only a few bits of pineapple in the rice.
Good serving size and a tasty meal.
I’d recommend this place and we’ll definitely return.

My family and I visited here during our quick trip to Brunswick. I really wish I could remember our server name because he was great. The food was good and the drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was nice, too. I ordered the New Zealand lamb chops, salmon roll, and Thai fried rice.

Great lunch spot!
Dumplings were delicious, loved the sauce!
Salmon was perfectly cooked! The green sauce has a bit of spice to it, but it was very good.
My daughter inhaled the hibachi chicken and rice!
The chicken and noodles were also a hit, my husband loved them!
The red velvet cheesecake was AMAZING!
Will go again!

Very tasty crispy flounder. Not a big portion but it was lunch. Spring rolls were somewhat over fried. Miso soup very tasty.
The house Chardonnay was a good brand.
Bathroom could use some deep cleaning
Server was attentive and polite .

Hello, my name is Angel I recently visited Basil’s in downtown Brunswick, and it was very easy to find. Basil’s serves Thai and sushi dishes at moderate prices, usually between $10–$20, and while you don’t have to dress up, it’s a fun place where you could. The restaurant has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with music from the 2015–2016 era, and it seemed to attract couples, families, and groups of friends. The staff was friendly and quick, though they do add gratuity directly to your tab. The menu is large, with appetizers like spring rolls, egg rolls, and dumplings, plus a wide selection of sushi, rice dishes, and Thai entrées. They also have desserts such as mango sticky rice, cheesecake, and key lime pie. I tried the sushi and spring rolls, which were fresh and tasty. Basil’s is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit, and I would definitely go back again. I would recommend Basil’s to anyone looking for a casual and delicious meal, and I think this review would fit well on Google or Yelp, where others could see why it’s such a great spot.

We have had good meals at this restaurant, but Friday night’s sushi maki combo was tasteless, stale and dry, as if I were served the leftovers from some other day. I like good sushi a lot and this was not good sushi.

Basil Thai & Sushi is an Asian fusion restaurant and sushi bar in downtown Brunswick. First time visiting and was hoping for better. The restaurant is clean, well maintained, and decorated supurbly. The service however was spotty and random, and the food was a bit underwhelming. Not a fan of warm shrimp in a shrimp cocktail and the soups and ginger salad dressings were much to sweet for my taste. The jumbo soft shell crab was dissopointing when i recieved 3 peices of fried Crab mixed in with some vegetables and sweet curry. The mango key lime cheesecake dessrt however was incredible and I will return to give e this restaurant another try so I can another taste of it.
