Reviews
Every time we go here for a meal we are happily greeted by the wonderful staff.
The meals are so tasty & fresh.
We have enjoyed many of the different dishes & we have never been disappointed!
Definitely worth a visit ☺️
The laksa was watery, and tasted watery.
The honey chicken was tiny (see photo). And completely bland.
The shaking beef had limited beef, which was cooked tender and slightly charred, but it was extremely bland overall.
The prawn toast was alright – Vietnamese flavours, not the typical Chinese prawn toast.
All up it was very flavourless and disappointing.
I’d liken it to Vietnamese/Chinese food at a retirement home. Catered for the white ageing population perhaps.
Time:
Our order is normally ready in 20 minutes regardless of how busy the restaurant is.
Order:
We regular go with the Bún Gà Xào which is a noodle salad bowl with mint, chicken and chicken. Plus a few sides like spring rolls or golden parcels.
Price:
Under $50 for the both of us.
Highly recommend this place, it’s quick and tastes amazing. We haven’t had any issues in the past 2 years we have been getting food from here. great food and great staff .
Plenty of parking out the front but it gets busy on the weekends
We said we’d prefer a fresh replacement instead.
A few minutes later, they returned with what was clearly the same old bowl of soup, and then tried to tell us there was “nothing wrong with it,” even though they had already seen the plastic themselves. They then claimed it was “minced stem,” which is completely untrue.
The fact that they expected us to continue eating the same soup after finding plastic in it was honestly shocking. The food safety issue alone is bad enough, but the way the staff handled it was even worse.
Absolutely unacceptable and we will not be returning.
The Chicken Sanchoi Bow was the perfect blend of crunch and flavour and great value for money. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee hit the spot on a hot Sumner’s day too.
Recommended.
The service is superb.
