I went to this Thai place for the first time on a Sunday evening and it was the perfect quiet spot for a cozy dinner. I’m a vegetarian and was impressed with the number of options. The Veg Spring Rolls, Veg Pad Thai, and Vegetable Green Curry were all super fresh and packed with flavor. The place was decorated with dim lighting and a calm atmosphere. Our server was incredibly courteous. Definitely a great vibe if you’re looking for a relaxed meal.

Great food for a good price.

Located in the basement, this restaurant has some quality dishes (such as the spicy pad Thai and the mild peanut chicken), and is surprisingly large given the tiny storefront. Main dishes are just over ~$10, which is amazing value for the quality of food.

Taste of authentic Thailand in Windsor! The restaurant looks small from outside but it’s surprisingly large inside. The food brought me back to Asia.

Wonderful idea for a quiet date-night dinner in town. Taste is 10/10 and the service is amazing.

We haven’t been here in twenty plus years. One of our friends suggested it and we came for dinner. We have been back a couple of times now.

First the restaurant is old, in the basement, but clean. There is no liquor license. Putting that aside the food is fantastic! We have had several dishes. Pad Thai and cashew chicken. The mango salad is great.

Parking can be tricky. But there are plenty spot around town.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Windsor. There mussels in curry sauce are amazing and must eat! Also they have nice bottled beer I didn’t find anywhere else.
Seafood dishes are very delicious.
Service is always great

It was my first time visiting this restaurant for my thai craving. Their food was surprisingly good in terms of taste and quantity considering I was very hungry that day. Also, this is one of the very few type places in town that is open late until 10 PM on a Friday night.

Everything had a good authentic Thai taste. I would recommend their Pad thai on the menu. The main restaurant is in the basement to the right and finding parking near the downtown area can be challenging sometimes. Bon appetite! 🙂

Interesting entrance…Pad Thai was just ok. Red not brown, little dry/clumpy. Spring rolls are solid meat, tasty.

Absolutely love Basil Court!

I went with a friend for lunch and I got the pad Thai and ordered it hot (spicy).

The service was fantastic, and the food was tasty and hot as requested!

Definitely a spot that is amazing for lunch and right on Ouellette. Check it out for sure.

The Basil Court is a gem in Windsor. Has been around for 30 years and has a very loyal customer base. Food is always delicious and served with a smile. Downtown Windsor is very fortunate to have it. Still great value even with the recent rise in food prices. Fresh ingredients all around. Don’t be fooled by the building or the aging decor. You are there for a delicious meal.
