Basil pizza is delicious! I walked in when it wasn’t busy, and ordered the medium meat lovers pizza, which could’ve easily fed 3-4 people. I also ordered the mozzarella sticks which were very good as well.
The server was very friendly, and my pizza was ready in about ten to fifteen minutes.
I asked the man behind the counter for some extra plates, and he gave me extra plates, red pepper, Parmesan, and napkins.
Since I walked, I can’t comment on parking. There was ample room to sit and eat however. I would definitely come back!

Today, we did some volunteer work at the Oceantfront. I rarely travel north to that area bc I live in SB. I would have never thought about getting a pie from Basil, but someone purchased some pizzas for us volunteers. This pizza was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be ordering Basil next time I’m in the area. It might be good enough for me to drive the 40 minute round trip from home once a month or so. It was takeout so cant speak to service or atmosphere, but flavor and ratios were 10/10

The food was on the pricey side, but it was pretty good. Wings were cooked well with a delicious mild sauce. Pizza and mozzarella sticks were average. The staff was very friendly and polite. The store is a little cramped, so we opted for takeout.

Came here with a friend in November and they paid, so I can’t speak to money vs value. The cheese pizza was very good. I liked the crust; it was light and crispy. The onion rings were ok, mostly breading, and they were on the sweet side. We also got a piece of oreo pie (not pictured) and it was ok. The salad was your average salad. I’d go back again for the pizza.

Late ish night time cravings brought us to this location. I cant give more than 3 stars and to be honest I was going to make it 1-star until one of the counter girls fixed a mistake without me asking her to. Great service.
Pizza is of the cardboard variety. Some people like that toasty thin crust but not me.
Wings were pre-cooked. I get that you sometimes do volume but this makes the wing taste like it is burnt.
Can soda, not fountain. Even though there is clearly a fountain right in front of us.
The interior nothing special and little to no room. Hope it does not get crowded.
Money can be better spent elsewhere.

We stopped by Basil Pizza for a quick lunch because the kids in our group were craving pizza—and we’re so glad we did! It’s just a 2-minute walk from our hotel, making it super convenient.
We ordered cheese slices for the kids and a veggie pizza for the adults. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed it so much that we didn’t even consider trying a different place for dinner—we went back that same evening and ordered the exact same thing. That’s a first for both families in our group!
Basil Pizza absolutely hit the spot, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Virginia Beach. Highly recommended!

The young lady making the drinks was very nice. Only issue is the fruit isn’t cold so when making the pineapple bowl smoothie, it wasn’t what I expected. It needed more coconut and was leaking from the bottom due the pineapple being a little on the Over ripe side.
The strawberry lemonade we purchase was fabulous.
Suggestions: store the fruit in a cooler so it stays cold and fresh

This place was right across the street from our hotel and was recommended by the front desk staff. Ordered a medium one topping to go. One thing I did notice, looks like the place is pork free, all the meats are the beef version. The pizza is amazing the cheese and crust are very good. If you are looking for pizza this is a must. I most definitely would go back. Only slight issue was pricing the menu says one price but was charged a slightly higher price.

The deluxe pizza was awesome!! Made to order. Ingredients were fresh. All beef meats, MUST TRY!! Meats had really good flavor. Crust was perfect, thin but not too thin and not thick. I added some crushed red pepper for extra spice. Ordered to go. This pic is a medium. Definitely large enough for 2 or 3 persons. If you visit VA Beach, give it a try. Dine in is available. Place is small and quaint. Will definitely visit again.
