The food was amazing. For us it was the perfect blend of seasoned (for the food) and sweetened (for the dessert). My toreado burger was so incredibly delicious it felt like a sorry being told inside of my mouth. The omelettes had a great blend of sweet and salty. The pistachio crusted French toast is hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever tried in my entire life. Basic, amazing! Great job to everyone here!

Basico delivers a beautiful, feel-good brunch experience.

The berry pancakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked, topped generously with fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. A soft scoop of whipped butter and a light dusting of powdered sugar added just the right amount of indulgence without overpowering the freshness of the dish. Syrup on the side let you customize each bite.

The presentation was clean and inviting, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It’s the kind of breakfast that feels cozy, satisfying, and elevated at the same time , simple food done really well.

If you’re looking for a relaxed brunch spot with quality ingredients and comforting classics, Basico is absolutely worth a visit.

This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. We’ve been back here a couple of times since they reopened and we have no complaint on the service or food quality. The place could be bigger but all in all, it’s a great place.

Excellent customer service, everyone was friendly and attentive. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. The only thing that could use some improvement was the coffee; it was a bit harsh for my taste. Overall, a nice spot that I’d visit again.

Atmosphere was chill, service was decent, but both those failed to make up for the lack of flavor in the food. Chicken and waffles (incorrectly marked on the menu as $12, but actually $21) were plain, my “creamy” poblano chilaquiles were not at all creamy, and in fact made us wonder if they had brought out the regular green ones instead (I didn’t bother asking because I was very hungry and just wanted to eat), and country potatoes cut so small I’d recommend asking for a spoon in order to eat them, though our son did enjoy them, at least. Can’t say I recommend this place, as the food lives up to its name of being basic.

The atmosphere here was great, the design was very aesthetic. Unfortunately, it did not make up for the food that was served. The service from the sever was good, but the kitchen seemed to have taken an extended amount of time to serve this not so great dish.
The eggs looked darker, as if cooked in old or reused oil. The omelette on the other dish looked the same way.

•The hash browns seemed to have been placed in oil, but definitely not fried. They had a crunch, but from the potato still being raw in the center.
•The eggs were ordered over easy, meaning all of the white should have been cooked and the yolk runny. It was partially raw still, shown in photos.
•I did order a coffee, it was not great. It was French vanilla, but the creamer was definitely not of quality.

Amazing! Loved the food and the atmosphere was great! I went in for my one-hour lunch break and the staff was so nice and on top of everything. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent from both male staff members (sorry I missed their names).
