Seriously tasty artisan pizza from street food team Base Face Pizza, a staple of the Hammersmith food scene, bringing delicious pizza to Barnes. From day one we have been utilising local producers to cut down on food miles, most of your ingredients have been made and sourced right here in London! We use a slow dough fermented over a minimum of 48 hrs to create a soft crust with a crispy char given by our 450 degree oven. Sustainable and thoughtful pizza.

My favourite pizza place ever. I bring all my loved ones here and can’t stop coming back!! Always get all 3 dips The jalapeño aioli is my personal favourite but the truffle and garlic butter dips come very close ❤️ Cocktails are always amazing too, and the staff are so friendly!

The kids menu is also nice £6 including a drink 7 inch pizza.
Everything was so good but waited 30 mins for the pizza when there were only 1 more table at the time of order. I think they focused on delivery and takeaways which could have managed better with people sitting inside as well.

Amazing pizza! Both carbonara and truffle shuffle where incredibly good. This is one of the top pizza spots in London I’ve been to so far. The interior is not very chic and I’d prefer it to be a tiny bit cleaner but that’s certainly not the most important part. Prices were fair I think. I’ll be back

When made well these pizzas are one of the best. After about 10 orders however we now notice a couple of things. 1. Rarely any decent offers, which is fine if the pizza is perfect. And 2. Quality dipping – today was hopefully a one off, the dough was obviously past its best. The pizza was dense rather than the light and slightly chewy texture. It bordered on unpleasant. Thankfully a full refund was given. So this message is for Base Face managers. Keep your standards up. That’s what your customers are paying for.

Was getting rather hungry on a Saturday afternoon, walking through Barnes. Came across this pizza place on Google maps.
Gave them a quick ring to see if they were dog friendly – they were.
Turned up 5 minutes later and was fed within 30 minutes and out the door a happy customer.
We had a pizza and a starter burrata to share.
The food blew our minds, so delicious, fresh ingredients.
Superb service. I had a lemonade which I would recommend.
They deserved their tip and service charge.
Thank you ever so much. Would highly recommend and the garlic butter was also delicious.

Went there yesterday early evening with my partner and the food was amazing. The server/waitress was really polite and made sure everything was perfect. Definitely our south west London pizza spot, will be back soon

As soon as I walked into the place I was hosted by Tiana and Ky, they both made my visit very pleasant and enjoyable. The food was made fresh came quickly and tasted brilliant. Overall 10/10 experience would recommend to anyone who loves a good pizza. Will be coming again.

Delicious pizza at a great price with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The space is small but cozy, and we had no trouble getting a table. It’s such a wonderful addition to the high street—a real gem! We went for lunch and enjoyed the £10 lunch deal, which was fantastic. The kids’ menu is pretty good, though a bit on the pricier side. The dough here is outstanding—some of the best I’ve had! The staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering a half-and-half pizza when I couldn’t decide between the quattro formaggi and truffle options. Both were absolutely delicious!

Nice/interesting location, buzzy atmosphere, nice ‘hip’ decor.
Really good, accessible menu – classics and some twists on classics. The special (‘Carbonara’ pizza), was much much better than the name might suggest – superb!
Great, quick service and some very practical/hospitable touches – water is brought to the table (don’t have to ask), everything needed is on the table, near clean and ready to use. No asking for, or waiting on things.
