Reviews
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and ideal for families. The pizza tastes authentic and homemade, made with high-quality ingredients that you can truly taste in every bite. Our pizzas were cooked to perfection — crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings.
The service was attentive and fast, even though the restaurant was busy. Yes, the wait time can sometimes be a challenge, especially during peak ski season, but the food is absolutely worth it.
This is an excellent family-friendly spot, and we will definitely be back the next time we’re in Tahoe! Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious, authentic pizza in a fun and lively setting.
We came on a Monday evening around dinner time and had about a 15 minute wait, which wasn’t too bad. The staff were very friendly and efficient — service was definitely one of the highlights.
We ordered the Caesar Salad and the Base Camp Pizza. Both dishes were good but not quite as amazing as we expected based on the reviews. The pizza had a thin crust and reminded us of Blaze Pizza in both texture and flavor, tasty, but nothing particularly unique. The salad, we ordered large, was fresh and nicely dressed, though a bit small for the price.
The atmosphere was casual and lively, but there’s currently some construction nearby that takes away from the overall dining experience. Another small inconvenience is that guests have to use the public bathrooms in the shopping area instead of on-site facilities.
Prices felt slightly high for what you get, but it’s understandable given the prime location in the village. Overall, a solid option if you’re already in the area and want a quick, friendly place for pizza, but not necessarily worth going out of your way for.
The live music is lively and welcoming, the service was warm and attentive, and the food easily lived up to the hype. If you’re in Tahoe and craving exceptional pizza with creative toppings and top-quality ingredients, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back.
It started raining toward the end of our dinner, and we got a little wet. There were outdoor umbrellas, which we tried to open to keep ourselves dry while we quickly paid the bill.
IMPRESSIVE, tasty gluten-free crust.
Only thing is they do not have bathrooms in the building and you have to walk outside- unideal, and sort of odd.
Also, highly recommend they get hot honey for the pizzas.
Drinks came fast, bartenders were excellent, did was also very good. Dessert was a warm deep dish cookie with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
Really good night!!! Snow is falling, the skiing was amazing and everyone is having a fun time.
