I love this place and the variety of healthy and yummy options! I’ve had an acai bowl and sandwich so far from here and both have been amazing. I also ordered a fruit platter for a birthday party pretty last minute and despite the owner heading out on vacation just days after I placed my order, everything was perfect! The fruit was so fresh and delicious, and arranged nicely on the tray. I was able to pay online and have a family member pick it up which was super convenient!

I had high expectations when hiring this private chef service for a special in-home dining experience, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing meals I’ve ever had. For $720 (for six people), I expected a well-executed, restaurant-quality experience. Instead, two elderly individuals individuals showed up who could barely walk, which immediately raised concerns about their ability to provide the level of service promised.
The food presentation was terrible—nothing looked appetizing or professionally plated. The meat was rubbery and poor quality, making it inedible. To top it off, the dessert was literally a $7 frozen Daiya cheesecake from the grocery store, something I could have grabbed myself for a fraction of the price.
For the amount we paid, this was beyond unacceptable. There was no sense of quality, effort, or professionalism. I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to look elsewhere unless you want to overpay for a subpar meal that you could have made better yourself.
The owner talked the talk and wanted to be paid in full upfront. Of all the private chef experiences I have ever hired, never have I had to pay before receiving the service. Now I know why.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SORBET BOWL! The ladies here did an amazing job, & it was delicious! I could eat one of these at least once a week! Very healthy & Satisfying. I Love the fact that They wore gloves (VERY SANITARY) people don’t wear gloves these days! Base Bowls most definitely have my upvote!!! Thanks again, I’ll be visiting VERY SOON!

The fruit bowls were pretty okay. The fruit base is frozen and they had fresh blueberries, strawberries and kiwis on top. I got a modified bowl because they were out of acąì base. The sandwiches actually looked kind of sad and was not extremely filling – veggie aya. It was our first time going to this place, and we didn’t really understand what bases you could choose from and which things to choose for a smoothie. Got the mango strawberry smoothie and it didn’t taste much like strawberry.

Base Bowls & Company is extremely good! I know i said it before, but they are really good! I customized my salad, and my tastebuds had a party! Not only is the food food, but the staff is incredibly encouraging and accommodating. I met one of the lovely staff members named Sarah. She not only made a lovely salad but left a message on my bowl stating, “Thank you for all you do!! You’re incredible!” She turned a tired, not so good day into one of my best days. The owner is remarkable, the staff is remarkable, and Base Bowls & Company is just my refuge when I need good food.
The smoothies! The salads! The sandwiches! Everything is good here. There is always something new and good being made at Base Bowls. If you’re looking for fresh taste that’s good for you, the next destination is Base Bowls & Conpany.

i usually like coming here, especially when the taller lady is working. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was not a good experience. Firstly, i didn’t see the lady i usually see, instead i saw two different ladies. I ordered a couple of items, and my order took FOREVER to be ready when we were the only ones there. They seemed to not know how things worked as one of the ladies kept looking at the menu in the front and asking questions, and the other stood in front of the blender for about 5 mins j staring at it. They only started working at a moderate pace once i asked for a refund. My grilled cheese was both burnt and soggy at the same time, my sisters açaí bowl had missing ingredients.$50+ for bad customer service and not so great food is not ok.

I’m not gonna leave a bad review because I know that their food is good and i’ve had them delivered to me before and it’s been delicious. But I did just drive twenty minutes to their location for the first time.Got there twenty minutes after they were supposed to be open and they were closed. I have my baby with me. So I already got him out of the car into the carrier, and I had to take him out and back into the car seat. Now I have to go back home hungry due to no time to get anything else. Things happen I understand, it was just extremely inconvenient. Like I said before I know their food is great, I wish I could of had it today!

There aren’t even words to describe how phenomenal this place is! Every single item I’ve ever had here has been absolutely delicious! You can see the kitchen from the ordering area, and it’s always extremely clean. The staff always has smiles on their faces, kind words & conversations, and they remember their customers! This is one of my favorite places to visit in St Joe.

This place is amazing! From the staff who take care of your needs, they are so accommodating, to the delicious food. I can’t think of another place near me that has food of this quality. They have boba tea which is my favorite. They also often have deals where they sell $100 gift card with a $100 gift card FREE like who does that!? lol The owner is very sweet and her child is so adorable Bottom line, I LOVE it here!!!

Update: profit margins on this place must be insane based on their pricing for simple salad ingredient. They have increase prices and decreased allowed add in’s since opening last year.
I wouldn’t qualify their smoothies as a healthy options, bases are a sugar sorbet. So they are really more like a dessert
