Excellent sandwich. I ordered the pork Banh Mi with jalapenos and was not disappointed. The pork was extremely flavorful and well cooked, topped with their amazing secret sauce. The breast was nice and crunchy on the outside while being soft on the inside. The favors and textures were overall an amazing experience. I coupled it with an iced Vietnamese coffee and have to say it’s some of the better coffee I’ve had. I typically don’t care for coffee but with this was a pleasant experience. It was rich and creamy without the overwhelming dark coffee taste. I didn’t even have to add any sugar or anything to it. The restaurant itself has amazing atmosphere with plenty of seating at tables and a long bar style table for people to work on laptops or enjoy each other’s company. Being able to see over the counter and watch the cooks prepare your food in real time made it feel very authentic. The restaurant also had amazing portraits depicting who I assume to the family that owns the restaurant. Multiple generations that really give you the feeling they put their heart and soul into their amazing service. I can’t speak highly enough about it. If you get a chance, swing by and get yourself some authentic and flavorful food.

Went here based on the reviews despite this place being a bit expensive . The beef pho was bland,even had some chunks of meat! With a few long strips that were chewy. The noodles looked pre-coooked a, day before and all stuck in a ball in my bowl, had to get a fork and chopsticks to separate them in order to eat. The sprouts I added had a soapy taste, like they washed them in soap water or they did not rinse the soap off the bowl.?Something was definitely soapy in my pho, it Got me sick!!!! Taste was horrible!!!! The banh mi was ordered without jalapeño s and guess what we bit into. Yup they didn’t remove them, you just ruined the meal. This was Just not a good experience, both of us left feeling sick from soapy soup and jalapeños that were not supposed to be in food. At least no one was severely allergic to jalapeños. Wasted money as it can as a treat to go out and eat. We

Such delicious and fresh food! You have to try the beef pho, and the pork banh-mi sandwich. The black spiced-tea is a wonderful choice as well.
Overall, the service was lovely, the food portions were generous and flavorful, and the atmosphere was very cozy. I’m never disappointed when I come here to eat.

What a treasure Ba’s is. The place is well decorated and has an open friendly atmosphere. We were greeted as we entered ( as were other customers ). We did not feel hurried to select a dish. My wife had the Banh Mi and I chose the goi cuon shrimp salad roll and a side order of their house kimchi ( which was some of the best I have tasted with an excellent texture ).
The food was excellent, the service was unobtrusive.
We really liked this place and will go back to try other dishes.

In the past I had been a pretty regular patron here. Different things have kept me away, but went back for tonight for dinner. The food is as amazing as ever and the staff and vibe are top notch. I haven’t ordered an item I haven’t enjoyed yet. Great spot with a good amount of seating. If you’ve never been, go and eat here! The owners are great and friendly people. Best Pho I’ve had, hands down.

This place is so cute, and the employees were so friendly! We got the vegan Bahn Mi sandwiches and the vegan spring rolls, and they were fantastic! The spring rolls were very crunchy and had plenty of good filling, and was served with a nice sweet and sour sauce. The sandwich with a dab of Sriracha was perfection! I loved the mushrooms so much. It all tasted really fresh and made us very happy and full! The building had a nice vibe and aesthetic also. I highly recommend it!

Seriously good Vietnamese food I never expected to find in Albany. The family got hit hard with medical difficulty recently, so the hours have been changing, but man was it worth the wait.
The ginger chicken fed two people for a day and it was a GOOD day. The appetizers were fantastic too, I can’t wait to go back for the sandwiches.
If you’re big on flavor ask for extra sauce, it’s DELICIOUS

4 stars but I wanna give bonus point for them.
Nice and clean environment, lovely service, great food and drink menu. Drinks are interesting but I definitely think they are good, pho are average, and salad roll have tofu option which is really nice.
Extra credit for their chilling oil! Don’t forget to try it.
And of course extra credit for nice and cute waiter .
