I saw a few TikTok videos from BretmanRock & Keith Lee where they had pancit bihon, and knew I needed to try it. I searched for Filipino restaurants near me, and Baryo came up. We made a 40 minute drive for my birthday and it was the best decision! The atmosphere is very welcoming and beautiful. We ordered spring rolls and an order of pancit bihon with chicken to share. It was more than enough for my sister and I. From the very first bite I was in love with the food and already planning to come back. Our waiter was fantastic and made the meal even more special. After he found out it was my birthday, he shared with me that it’s customary in Filipino culture to eat this dish on your birthday. It was a beautiful moment, and I’m so thankful that he shared. We will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend that you give it a try. ☺️

I came in on a busy Friday evening not having any experience with Filipino food. Alliyah was phenomenal not only tending to me but to literally all the guests. I proceeded to tell her to pick me out two dishes and she delivered!
The food was absolutely phenomenal and the staff was great as well.

It was my first time trying this restaurant and Filipino food. They have very good food, and very flavorful. They have a bev bar with boba, and ice teas. I am vegetarian and they have tofu dishes. I tried the Tofu SigSig, highly recommend. The service could use a little work. The experience felt rushed, rather than friendly and welcoming. I will be back next time, I am back in Muncie.

Been trying to eat at Baryo for a month now since I’m here on a contract. Finally. Recommend!!
Edit: I wanted my eggs fully cooked and crispy, but the usual is cooked sunny side up.

You got to go early or else it will ran out. The Kare kare was a big hit. Make sure you add shrimp paste or Bagoong on it.

A Muncie hidden gem, I’ll be back, I wish I discovered this place sooner.
I ordered the crispy pork kare kare with garlic fried rice, my compliments to the chef, I highly recommend this dish. Also, portion sizes are enormous.
Service was a little slower than I’d prefer, but our waitress was very kind, she knew the menu well and could answer questions and provide recommendations.
The menu is slightly difficult to read, fonts are small and contrast is poor.
I can’t wait to come back again, I wanna try everything on the menu.

The Pancit and Pork Abobo are exceptionally savory and loaded with flavor! Onnie is a wonderful server. The food reminds my girls of my Filipino mom and her delicious cooking. We’ve been coming here since Baryo first opened and love seeing the growth over the past year.

We visited this place because we love variety. Boy, did this place deliver. We walked in and were seated immediately. The decor is straightforward and inviting. The menu has a great amount of authentic Filipino dishes. The dishes offered amazing flavors!!
The waitress, Aliyah was excellent. She definitely knew the menu and gave excellent suggestions. The food was really good. The garlic rice and Adobo pork was yummy!! I could eat that rice all day. The Bento box offered a variety so you could taste many things. The prices were reasonable. I would definitely return.
