Ordered take away, £40 worth of food, and we had to add to make it a meal. Rip off. The shame is the food is great, but it this is not London. Give the right portions. Even in London I’d be upset. She has to get this right otherwise I can’t see this lasting long.

Amazing! We initially couldn’t get in at the other ‘more popular’ thai resteraunt in town because they were closing at 8pm, so we booked Barwan. It was fantastic. Great service, drinks and AMAZING food. Would recommend over anywhere else in Buxton, 5 star.

We ate here with friends, and there was a nice bit that was secluded. We had the Korean & sweet & sour wings, I personally found the Korean sauce by rich for me, but my friend enjoyed it. My husband really enjoyed his sweet & sour wings. He also had the classic burger, which he said was very nice. I had the classic nachos purely because it’s a fave dish of mine.

Sorry to see you’ve had a couple of recent poor reviews. People really don’t understand the damage they do when giving a poor review because “you weren’t open and didn’t update the Google site”! Also, the other recent poor review sounds like they’ve got the wrong restaurant! We love your food, ambience and your very pleasant but not intrusive staff. About to ring and book a table for 6 tomorrow evening. Keep up the good work and anybody with any sense will ignore the two negative reviews recently posted X

Delicious food and attentive staff. Lovely restaurant with excellent service. We had the vegetarian mixed starter which was great. The Pad Thais were some of the best we have had, and the crispy pork (pad kra-pao moo kob) was delicious! And generous portions. Would definately recommend.

We were there for dinner last night as a family of 4. The staff were very welcoming on our arrival, very attentive and friendly staff. The food was excellent, great choice of delicious food on the menu, lovely warm multi fuel stove on as you walk through the door. Highly recommend a visit here.
