Barvida has quickly become my go-to spot for smoothies. Everything tastes super fresh and not overly sweet, which I love. You can tell they use real, quality ingredients. The staff is always welcoming and the service is quick, even when it’s busy. I usually stop in after work or on weekends, and it always hits the spot. Definitely recommend if you want something healthy that also tastes amazing.

While very expensive, all their liquids are of the highest quality, whether smoothies, juices or bowls. Service is attentive and they encourage you to sample some of their creations before ordering. The flavour combinations work very well. It is perfectly located in downtown New Canaan and boasts a modern but inviting decor.

Just had my first 2 smoothies at Barvida and they were OUTSTANDING! I’ve been planning a visit for a while now and it was 100% worth the wait. First, the staff was super friendly, attentive, and when I said “dealer’s choice” with my second smoothie, they nailed it. Absolutely delicious. They were also really efficient as it was a constant stream of customers while I was there and they took care of everyone quickly. Second, the actual smoothies themselves were like no other smoothie I’ve tasted. Not overly sweet, perfect combination of ingredients and didn’t leave me feeling really heavy after as most smoothies do, which is an A plus in my book. And finally, I have to give it to the owners. The primary reason I planned the visit in the first place was because I love their social media content. Hilarious and visually enticing for sure, but I can now say they have a fantastic business as well. Thank you for a great experience, Highly recommend!!

Drop everything and run to BARVIDA if you’re a lover of smoothie bowls, juices, vegan food, or anything healthy! Seriously the best quality food and drinks compared to similar stores in CT. Plus the vibe is awesome! I loved their Darien store when I visited but now I also love their newest location in New Canaan! The vibes are awesome, and I’m always amazed by the presentation they achieve with natural colors and ingredients. The peanut butter toast was like a grown up PB&J – I’m obsessed! Plus the staff is so friendly and welcoming at both locations. Whenever someone asks me about a vegan friendly spot or somewhere for healthy food or good smoothie bowls, I always tell them about BARVIDA!!

Hate to report that Barvida will be clearing out my bank account this spring/summer. So fortunate to work so close to them! Their smoothies are the perfect hybrid of sour and not too sweet and definitely not artificially sweet (which seems to be norm everywhere else)! Run – don’t walk – for the best smoothies, best customer service, and coolest vibe/aesthetic.

I loved the ambiance and service. Everything so fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend their açai bowls and their amazing smoothies!! They have vegan and organic juices , smoothies and bowls! I tried the Pitaya bowl and loved the freshness!! The Perfect Pitaya just got a bit more perfect @barvidajuicebar. Definitely coming back!
