⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What I can confidently say was one of the best Indian street food experiences I’ve had in the UK. The flavours were absolutely mind blowing and the portion sizes were very generous.

The menu is predominantly vegetarian, which was a huge plus for me. While there are only a few meat options, I would genuinely encourage meat lovers to try the vegetarian dishes. I am sure they won’t be disappointed.

The staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.

Don’t be put off by any negative reviews. Come and try it for yourself. I would happily come back to Keswick just to eat here. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and they had lots of vegan options available. Service was fast and they accommodated us and our giant dog easily. The cocktails were great too!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who lives in the area as one to visit whilst we were up from Kent. We werent disappointed. The lighting was low and the atmosphere cozy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food Absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients and beautifully cooked with vibrant spaces and flavours. Presentation perfect. Brilliant experience.

VISIT HERE ASAP! We just turned up on the off chance we could get in and they found us 2 seats in the window. We stayed for over 2hrs and had some of the best Indian food we have ever had. This isn’t your normal ‘British’ Indian food. It’s authentic Indian food as you would get on India!

The flavours these guys get into every dish is insane and perfect portion sizes for sharing.

The manager and his staff are so nice, they really make you feel welcome.

They have a great selection of beers on offer too!

If you haven’t been here then just go and enjoy it, its not to be missed!

Thanks guys, see you again soon!!

This Indian restaurant offers very good food suited best for groups or couples to share. The options were a great mix of familiar and unique, which were very reasonably priced.
We got 4 dishes and drinks for £65 to share and experienced brilliant service with eager and helpful staff, who even helped with more local recommendations while we left.

It was quiet on a Sunday night so I’d highly recommend going earlier at busier times, although the great music and lovely staff maintained the upbeat atmosphere.

My girlfriend is vegan and the majority of dishes were perfect for her with so many delicious options.

We had a lovely time with this restaurant and highly recommend.

Decent spot, but not for those seeking authentic Indian flavors
Vada Pav – 4/5, Pav Bhaji – 2/5 – A big NO, Fish and Samosa Chaat – 3/5. Mango Lassi with Lemonade Masala – 0/5 – I fail to understand the drink

The pav and parathas were drenched in garlic butter, which made them soggy and hard to eat the traditional way.

+1 star for being dog-friendly and having great service.

Five stars to the owner for his passion and commitment. On a busy Saturday the pressure is on to generate income, so I need to be careful not to be negative. The boss really wants to get this right and I want to celebrate his passion! Any negative comments from me are not intended to undermine him in any way. So, five stars for passion and commitment . The 4 stars are only to do with the problem of trying to combine British drinking tastes with this food. Okay, I’ve never been to India so can’t judge, but the food did feel a bit angulurised with lots of sweet sauces that, combined with the strong spices, didn’t work with British alcohol. Maybe, the trick is to just drink beer with this type of food?
My advice would be to go early and enjoy cocktails and atmosphere one day and eat the next!
Please give this establishment a try! It’s great to see such passion. Just don’t mix cocktails with the fair at the same time – or even the wine.

Recently visited this restaurant. Some items were good, while others were disappointing.
The papad was good (though a bit expensive), but I loved the garlic chutney. The vada pav was good, though it was missing the spicy garlic chutney. The onion bhaji was also good.

However, the dal tadka was very bland — it lacked authenticity and flavor. The chole (chickpeas) were just okay.
We didn’t like the garlic parantha — it tasted more like something frozen and had too much oil/butter.

It’s a shame that even the plain rice wasn’t great — it didn’t taste fresh.

Overall, I think the food can definitely be improved. The menu is great, and the ambience is good, but it’s missing the authentic Indian flavors.
