Whether it’s Paczki Day, Christmas or Easter I can always count on Bartz with call ahead ordering of fresh Halka, French and Rye Breads, authentic Blessing Breads and cross buns and of course Paczki. Employees who continued on and have been there for years and the lovely new employees. Always pleasant and knowledgeable.
I love the remodel-well done. It’s so bright and cheerful!
Keep up the good job!

Go early! Things fly off the shelf here! Guy in front of me bought 8 raisin breads! Addicted much? The Birthday cake had to be chocolate this year. Bakery chocolate cakes are almost always terrible but this one was very moist and delicious. Mom is happy. The recipient loved the cake so very much that it was taken to friends to show it off first before family.

I moved close by in 2021. I bought Christmas cookies for all my neighbors, and after I passed them out I had one. It was stale and I was so embarrassed that I gave my neighbors stale cookies. I never went back. I heard they redid the place so I thought I’d give them another chance, its been 5 years. Nice place, higher prices, still the same old stale cookies served by people with no hair nets. Yuck. I will not be back.

Bartz has been a family favorite for over 30 years. Recently stopped in to order a birthday cake (marble). It had good balance of batter and frosting – tasty! Left with a bunch of sweets, too! Great place and large variety of baked goods.
Update: stopped in 8/19/20. Good cupcakes! The German Chocolate was very moist and decent chocolate flavor.
I also picked up a lemon bar and carrot cake square. The lemon square was not very good – it lacked…strong lemon flavor and wasn’t sweet. More flavor of cornstarch/flour. But the carrot cake was out of sight! It was evident that most of the tray was already gone when I got there….shows that it’s a winner! Very moist and full of flavor! Will get that again!

Bought 3 donuts this morning. I’ve been wanting to stop by for years. Today was the first day I had a flight leaving after 8am which would allow me to stop by.
The donuts may have been fresh although I couldn’t tell. I should have continued to drive straight to the airport.

I have been going to Bart’s bakery for 40+ years use to be a great bakery. Have been living out of state. I have been to Bart’s twice in the past 90 days definitely my last time. It is definitely not what it used to be to be and this is my last visit.

I love this bakery! Great service kind and respectful and professional people. I get all my cakes for every occasion from here. I also have tried their dinner rolls, donuts, cookies and pastries. Everything from here is great. Just go show them a picture and they’ll tell you if they can make it. They are also very affordable. I recents got a gender reveal cake and cupcakes from there and all I did was show them a picture. Did I mention everything from here is delicious. Try it !!!!!

I stop here every time I pass by – The staff is always kind and helpful. I love the “day old” section to grab a bag of bread rolls for sandwiches right by the front door, then I peruse until I have an idea of what to actually get. This is difficult and is the hardest part of shopping here because everything we try is incredible. It has German and Polish pastries along with the classic cupcakes, cookies, donuts, spinach pie etc. All of it I’d recommend.
Make sure to say hello to the three gentlemen always sitting at the front window table having their morning coffees and keeping an eye on the place.
The only problem is once we get HOME – if we don’t cut everything in half I somehow get NONE of it – hence the photo. Note- He knew better than to touch the canolis 😉
