Love that they had an outside area. The food tasted pretty good and it was a perfect before our hike. They were very nice to us and also filled our cups with ice as we prepared for our day journey.

If you temper your expectations you will not be disappointed. I visited twice. Both times the service was good. Both times I ordered burritos. Both times they were a nice size and seemed to be made with fresh ingredients. The only issue I have is that they weren’t as flavorful as I expect Mexican food to be. No heat either. Even the jalapeños I ordered on the side were not hot. The margaritas were strong. If I return to the area I would eat here again.

We came during off hours around 4:00 on a weekday. We were hungry and wanted some Mexican food but had never been here before or heard of it. My wife got the quesadilla Verde and I got a fajita salad bowl. It came also with chips and salsa. The entrees were delicious and tasted very homemade. Recommend this little gem off the beaten path in Mount Jackson

My husband and I went 2 times. One time to try the Mexicanand then to try the Italian. Both nighta we has a great time. The staff was pleasant and the food was very yummy.

We were very pleased with the meal. We ordered steak tacos and shrimp fajitas. The food was presented well and tasted delicious. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The house sauce was amazing. The staff was very pleasant. This is AUTHENTIC cuisine!!!

There are a few issues here. Its name says bar and grill, but they don’t have a liquor license. We weren’t told this until after we were seated, chips were put in front of us, and then asked whether we wanted to order appetizers before they would then “come back soon” to get our drink order. All seemed a little designed to get you eating first, so that you wouldn’t feel comfortable in leaving once you found out it’s a dry establishment. The waitress said “we’re working on getting a liquor license”, but other online reviews suggest they’ve been under new management for more than 6 months, so what’s up and why aren’t they clear with customers? Food was mediocre, not terrible. Waitress was nice, so the reason they at least get a middling review. Be aware.

Update: 8/23: Food has gone downhill. Recently, no chips (ok, make some). No guacamole tonight. Sour cream is grainy from being frozen. Food lacks “Mexican” flavor. Salsa too spicy hot for the average person. No longer our go-to for a good Mexican meal.
Excellent food, cheerful, friendly staff. Understaffed during busy times, so there may be a bit of a wait. Consistently good food, we enjoy going here.
