Very cool vibe and atmosphere. Everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. The ceviche was awesome with a nice little spice on the back end—bright citrus, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors. Highly recommend if you like lots of flavor with a bit of heat.
The tuna taco was amazing and packed with flavor in every bite. Drinks are squeezed fresh right in front of you, which really makes a difference. My spicy margarita was tasty and refreshing; I would’ve liked a little more spice, but it was great to have a real margarita.
Michelle wasn’t a fan of the Old Fashioned (she prefers bourbon), but it was clean and fresh and I can see many people enjoying it.
Service at the bar was good, but overall the service was way too slow. The host was no were to be found for 5 min. (May have been short staffed, we don’t judge after only visiting one time). That said, the food, freshness, and vibe make this spot worth checking out.

Heard and saw some “not so good” reviews but most of the complaints were about the service. We gave them, Bar Taco in Hingham a chance anyway and did not disappoint. Date night and after the movies, stopped in and was greeted by one of the waitresses Emma. Emma was friendly, attentive, professional, delightful, courteous and polite. The restaurant clean, spacious, nicely decorated, well lit and comfortable with outdoor patio seating. The front of the restaurant is opened to the outdoor patio with heaters. We chose to sit inside. Noise level was filled with music but you can still have a conversation. Great menu. Placed our order with Emma and our order arrived in timely manner. Ordered several tacos, duck, ribeye, chorizo, fried oysters and pork belly. Shared an tres leches for dessert. All were nicely presented, fresh, perfectly prepared, tasty and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Will return to try out the other items on the menu.

The tacos here were delicious. We got the duck, pork belly, carnitas, and carne asada. My favorite was the carnitas. I thought the duck taco wasn’t that special, didn’t really taste like duck. The tuna lettuce taco was surprisingly good. We came here on a weekend night. It took longer than I thought for the tacos to arrive.

Bartaco in Hingham is an amazing location! From the moment you walk in, the beachy vibes make you feel like you’re on vacation.
The food is incredible. The tacos are flavorful and creative — I highly recommend the pork belly and Baja fish tacos, but honestly, everything on the menu is worth a try. The rice bowls and street corn are also delicious. I tried the new passion fruit margarita and it was so fresh and delicious. I also would recommend the green juice margarita!
My whole experience was a 10/10 because of the amazing staff and the managers! Brandon went above and beyond to make me and my friends experience more than we would have ever imagined! Thank you!

INCREDIBLE dining experience at THE one and only Bartaco. Service was absolutely incredible, our waiter, Danilo, was so kind, fun, and extremely helpful! The host as well was super inviting, generous, and set a great tone for the dinner ahead. The food was absolutely incredible as well and ordering on the menu cards was very fun and different! Me and my friends are most definitely coming back again, this place is gonna be sick of us!

We like tacos (duh) and we really like GOOD tacos. And this place has GOOD tacos. And good tamales. And good salsa. And good iced tea. And good service (fantastic actually; friendly, attentive, not over-bearing). And good atmosphere (casual but polished, very chill). And great gluten-free options. The tacos are perfectly sized to try them all. And you should. Perfectly sized, cooked, seasoned, and spiced.

This was our 4th visit to Bartaco, Hingham. We absolutely love the food, drinks, atmosphere, but especially the service. Tonight they had live singers who were amazing. This old timer especially loved some of the 80s songs. Our server Grace, but especially Branden the manager, made the service even better. They really make you feel appreciated as a customer. Thank you Bartaco. We’ll definitely be back.
