Empty during lunch time…not a great sign. See some people say it’s dirty in there. Yes, there is food on the floor and booths, but it was excessively dirty or greasy. Wouldn’t hurt to wipe it all down though. Bathrooms were clean.
The food: we ordered the Philly cheese steak and avocado burger. The burger was good. The Philly tasted good, but induced stomach issues shortly. The fries were the worst part. If all you have to serve is burgers and fries…both should be excellent.
Fries were absolutely soggy.
Seems like people said new owners bought the place. Looking at pictures of food a few months ago, the fries definitely look much crisper and food looks better. Sad I missed it when the food was good

I hadn’t been to this resturant in over a year and was surprised to see it newly renovated. The menu is amazing completely updated featuring new Mediterranean dishes. I had the special of the day which was grilled chicken prepared on French bread. Quality of the food overall was much better than it had been with the previous owners. I was welcomed at the door the food was hand delivered and portions were generous. I simply can’t recommend this place enough!!!

Love supporting local businesses and the food here was really tasty. We both got a jumbo cheese burger and they were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We will definitely be back here! It has an old-time restaurant feel to it which is not a bad thing. Prices are also very affordable.

I was hoping for a great “homemade” feel & taste from a long-standing “mom & pop” shop. The atmosphere gave the impression that this place could pull that off, with its very dated interior & antiquated vibe. Unfortunately, it completely missed the mark. While the service was great, the food left a lot to be desired.
The jumbo burger combo was less than mid-range (4/10). It looked good, but the flavor was just NOT there. Also, 3 slices of cheese is a bit excessive imo, but to each their own on that note. The veggies for the burger had definitely seen better days as well. The (unsalted) fries & sweet tea were honestly the best parts & even that is being quite generous.
For $13.52 (which included a 4% credit card fee), I could’ve had a similar tasting burger from any chain. For the amount of time I waited, my expectations were sorely disappointed. Maybe it was an off day. Best of luck to those who choose to patron this establishment. Do not expect deliciousness.

Barry’s is a gem!!!! This is our second time eating here, and this time we actually stayed for dine-in. From incredibly friendly service to amazing food, this spot had definitely become our favorite place in OKC. The grilled chicken sandwich is undoubtedly the star, it is so well marinated and flavorful. We are only staying in OKC for a short time but we are grateful we found this place.

Great place for burgers! I’ve been coming here for a long time. I had the Jumbo Cheeseburger and Fries. The food is good and made fresh. I really like the fresh cut fries. Still need to refurbish the seats and booths.

We walked in and immediately was welcomed by the employees! They were very patient when we were making our decisions and helped us on what to get! The restaurant itself was very clean, and orderly. The food itself was absolutely delightful! I’ve tasted burgers that were very plain but the burger I had was so full of flavors and it was an amazing experience. The employees came and checked on us to make sure everything was good, and they made sure we had a great experience! I definitely recommend going here, and the French fries are hand cut, and not too salty. They’re just right! Wonderful experience.

Greasy goodness!! Best burger joint around, I swear! I’ve been coming here since I was a freshman in high school and always recommend it when friends are in town. I walked here until I could drive. Very friendly service from everyone, especially Jeanae. Homemade food in an original diner that feels comfortable and at home for us who have been coming here since their NW Classen days!
