The Barro’s Pizza recipe comes from Grandma Angelina Barro who came from Italy in the 1930’s, providing a pizza unlike any other. This was our second time eating from Barros, the first time was in Tucson.
We ordered a gf pizza with sausage and jalapenos and 6 wings to go.
The pizza was amazing!!! The wings were dry, overcooked and just terrible.
We didn’t write a review at the time because we wanted to give them another chance at a different location.
That day was today.
Same order and carry out as well.
Again the pizza is one of the best gf pizzas we have had.
The wings were inedible! Dry, hard overcooked. Look at the pic.
We each had a wing and had to throw the rest out.
If we had ordered in we would have sent them back.
If this review was just about the pizza we would give it 5 stars.
If it was just about the wings a 1 star would be a compliment.

The food here is about as good as it comes. Typical Barros atmosphere, laid back and pretty open layout. Their bench seats need to be better padded as I felt some of the framing as I sat down but otherwise fairly comfortable booths. It can be busy at times during dinner rush as would be expected but otherwise always a great place for lunch!

Habanero Mango wings were nice and balanced with a slow heat build, not too spicy. Garlic Bread was crispy and soft, in my opinion it needs more garlic flavor. Celery was fresh and crunchy. Thin Crust Barro’s Special was tasty. I would repeat someday. Nice take out presentation.

We haven’t been to Barro’s for a few years it was just super inconsistent for awhile so we’ve been getting tailgaters but tonight my son wanted Barro’s it was absolutely amazing everything was cooked perfectly and the best pizza and wings we’ve had in awhile! Definitely will be coming back again, thank you for making dinner so yummy tonight!

Ordered club sandwich and Italian sandwich. Both came and were made to perfection definitely care about how product is being served and the quality. Cashier was very pleasant upon entering and waited on us with a smile and was attentive to our order. All interactions with the staff were top notch. Definitely a good place to get a good meal at a decent price. Thanks I will come back.

The food is always good the service is mid and the atmosphere is a bit dull. I come for the great food they always have but it’s frustrating to see you order 2 large pizzas before others who come in after you and order more pizzas with wings and additional items leave before you after waiting 50 plus minutes when others waiting significantly less leaving with more food. I watched and listened to them order after I did while I waited and they paid after so for the staff to tell me that they ordered in advance does not sound accurate if I watched them order In store. They need to be more in order of first in fist out of when customers order.

On a very hot day we a walked into a very spacious, cool joint to enjoy top quality pizza, naked wings, and salad along with a refreshing corona! We over ordered so we could take some home. They have a full salad bar but the attendant helps you with it. (not self serve) There are tons of tables, lots of seating. And nice clean bathrooms. The best of all is they had Pepsi!! Yay.

I’ve never been to Barro’s pizza before. My stepsons school was doing a fundraiser night so I definitely wanted to finally give it a try. I did a pick up order. The food came out great and tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend their food now. The prices are pretty reasonable too. I do wish they offered a nondairy cheese though!

Nice newer pizza restaurant in Buckeye. The inside was semi clean as I saw trash on the floor and on the tables. A lot of pizza size choices so whether your individual or have a big family, they have a pizza option for you as regards to size. As far as the menu, lots of options, including salad and wings, which make for hearty meal. My pizza came out hot and fresh however it did take a long time considering it wasn’t that many people in the restaurant. As you can see it is a thick burnt meat pizza you with hardly any meat.
