The Barro’s Pizza recipe comes from Grandma Angelina Barro who came from Italy in the 1930’s, providing a pizza unlike any other. People may disagree on whether it’s the thick crust with its light, flakey texture, which almost melts in your mouth, or the wonderful spiced sauce that is the secret of this great tasting pizza. Barro’s Pizza also provides wings, salads, sandwiches, pastas, gluten-free pizza options, dessert, beer and wine.
Regional chain serving thick- & thin-crust pies, wings & sandwiches in a simple setting.

I can’t even tell you how long it’s been since I ordered a pizza from Barro’s. No reason actually. Then my wife suggested getting a pizza from Barro’s! I was highly impressed with the ease of ordering online. I was even more impressed when I walked into the store! Nice dining room, spacious and clean, well organized and the young lady that greeted me was awesome! She was so helpful and friendly. Pizza was ready to go and she made my salad on the spot asking me what other items I wanted to add. Absolutely great service. Got home and we were digging in! I wish that I could name names and give kudos accordingly. The 67th Ave and Beardsley (just off the 101) location is the location that I went to for reference. Great job Barro’s!!!!

We live in the area. My husband loves coming here for the barros special. The staff are friendly Especially the gentleman. Since we often get off work late, sometimes around 9:30pm to 9:40pm. They still allow us to dine in.

Budget friendly pizza
I have been coming here for many years. Overall i have had good experiences here. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and welcoming . The food is good for the price. Sometimes the pizza is too doughy if not cooked properly due to the thick size and could use more toppings. But overall its a solid place .

Pizza with original crust was very good. Hot, nice amount of toppings and creamy cheese blend. The wings were tasty, but dry, perhaps overcooked or sat to long.

We stopped here to eat when my daughter was in the hospital. The place was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The pizza was awesome. Highly recommend….. Lots to choose. You can build your own pizza or order off the menu. They also have a big selection for salad if you’re a vegetarian and lots of choices for children

I paid almost $50 for two pizzas and a large salad that I customized. When I took my order home, they had wrapped my salad in a plastic bag and tied it shut. When I got home and opened the bag, I realized they gave me a small salad that was completely different and had peppers and things on it. I didn’t like. I called them and told them about it. They told me to come back and get my salad no problem. When I went to get a salad like they said, they tried to look up my order and couldn’t find it. They told me that they voided the charge and I got my whole order free. When I checked my bank account, they did not void it, and there was no transaction to refund it. 24 hours later. They sat and looked on their computer for several minutes and still couldn’t find that I had paid for the pizzas and salad so they wouldn’t give me a nine dollar salad that I paid for. Really disappointed in their customer service. I don’t think I should have to pay for another salad because they don’t know how to keep their records correctly. I’m not so hard-pressed to pay nine dollars for a salad that I would spend all this time and effort trying to get a free salad out of them over something that didn’t actually happen! Definitely need to work on your customer service and recordkeeping skills.

New to the area so tried the closest pizza joint to the new house. Had a traditional pizza the first night, was really good, crust was just the right thickness for in between thin and pan. Sauce was good, right amount of cheese and toppings. Ordered the Hot Italian Sub and cheese ravioli the next night. The sandwich reminded me of Quiznos, was good. Cheese Ravioli were huge and large order is enough for 2 people, sauce and cheese on top, filling was good. Service was exceptional on both visits. Will be in the regular rotation.

Ok – I’ve been coming here for 5 years. I’ve never complained about their food until NOW. I ordered their Sweet chili wings and were surprisingly disappointed. Hardly any sauce on the wings and dry. After picking up my order I was heading to work. I discovered this when I had my lunch hour and not right away. I couldn’t call Barros to make them aware of my disappointment due to being at work. I own my own business and when one of my customers brings something to my attention I make it right. If they ask for a refund we talk about it and work it out – especially good customers.
I’ve been a good customer even tip the girls each time and they wouldn’t even consider the idea of a refund because I didn’t call that same day. I can see somewhat their point – but because I never complain I felt I have a good track record – especially after 5 years of continued patronage. Take a look at the picture. . . I ordered 12 wings – where’s the sauce? And that was for 12 wings. We were so hungry we did eat 6 of them but couldn’t eat the rest – they were too dry without much sauce at all. That’s not what wings are supposed to look or taste like. When something is brought to my attention I do whatever I can for my customers – we’re talking 12 wings – not hundreds of $$$. The manager didn’t take the call – just kept relaying the message thru his girls. I’m so surprised there was no effort to even listen to what I had to say – no offer to make it right, no coupon for a future visit, no “come in and we’ll make it right because we can see your history with our restaurant” NOTHING.
After 5 years of eating here I decided to post due to the “no care” attitude. I’ll order wings at Oggi’s just down aways from them. I’ll take my business where it’s appreciated and not taken for granted.
Unfortunately they won’t miss one customer but eventually with this attitude one customer becomes 2 and so on. . .
YOU NEVER TAKE IT FOR GRANTED that you’ll always have business. You can have it all one day and loose it the next.
It’s 10 times harder to get a new customer than to retain the one you currently have.

Barros is that weird joint that I don’t necessarily hate but don’t necessarily like. Hungry Howies is my number 1 for enjoyment. Little Caesar’s is my number 1 for party’s because it’s like $7 for a large.
What does that make Barros?
The pizza I eat if someone else is paying. Again, it’s not great, not bad, it’s just pizza.
“Why’d you give it 4 stars then?”
Cause it was ok this time.

I don’t know who was making Pizza, wing, and the cinnamon bread, last night. All I have to say is lay off the lemon pepper powder and cinnamon powder also never seen icing get so hard like this, I was able to hold, it was upsetting that we paid so much money for this type of food quality. I threw everything away, at this time took some pictures.
