They never anticipate needs of the working persons lunch only being 30 min. Each time I try to order Sausage to go, they NEVER have anything ready or it’s over promised to another patron. I am asked to wait 15 min plus and they staff poorly during thur lunch rush. Love their food, but the service at this location does a poor job of representing the brand and anticipating needs.

I have been a Barros girl since Jr high. All started with a #4 on Greenway 27th Ave next to Zias. They’ve ALWAYS charged for dipping sauce IF not served with what you have ordered. ALWAYS have had a tip jar. COOL secret on tipping sometimes you get bigger drinks and or extra slice. The food is always hot and a HUGE win. Have TVs for viewing pleasure waiting area for take out. Salad bar looks fresh and clean. Drinks are good. I prefer Coke. So I get their AMAZING black flavored tea with extra ice. I travel past 2 Barros to come to this one. This place is wheelchair friendly. Manager knows his regulars and helps with the care of customers that need the extra help. Clean great for gatherings. Great all the way around.

Why you should visit: Very good pizza, good salad bar, sandwiches are awesome, very good ice tea, service is spot on, prices are very fair. I ordered a large Barros special pizza to go, had some ice tea, excellent tea (Desert Blossom), while I was waiting for pizza. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean, and organized. Pizza was very good, I would order the same again. I was very impressed with the visit. I highly recommend trying Barros.

I went in for a a quick birthday lunch special. On December 5. The man behind the register was a pleasure to talk to you. And also had a great rapport with all the other customers. It felt like she made everybody happier that walked through that door. Probably one of the best experiences at barros that I’ve had.

The pizza is soggy. It needs to be cooked longer. We eat Barros a lot. Usually in Avondale and it is delicious. The last 2 of 3 pizza orders at this location have been soggy/under cooked.
