I’ve been a big fan of Barro’s for many years! Was excited to have one nearby when I moved back to Arizona.
My go to is a large pepperoni, Italian sausage, and ricotta on regular crust. Underrated combo if there ever was one. Their sides are good too.

This place is a solid go-to for pizza by the slice, with tasty lunch specials like the hot wing pizza on Wednesdays and a salad bar where staff make it for you. The vibe is friendly and great for both dine-in and takeout, though it would be nice if ranch came with the specials and service was a bit quicker during the lunch rush.

I’ve got a lot of good stuff to say about this place. I came in after 9:00 p.m. was surprised that they were opened after 9:00.
The guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful and the guy who brought the pizza to my table was friendly as well. You kind of get the feeling they’re very happy to work here versus a lot of places many people don’t act like they want to be there.
Being as late as it was when I walked into the bathroom the place looked like it was first thing in the morning like they just opened. Everything about the atmosphere was nice.
I normally don’t talk this much about a place before I start talking about the food but it gave me a nice feeling.
I ordered the any pasta salad and a pizza with tomatoes. The dough was very fresh. I ate half of it and brought the rest home. I ordered a small antipasto salad and it was pretty good size in that bowl. Lots of meat Nice balsamic vinegar. Thank you guys for a great dinner late night dinner.

The pizza was amazing. I ordered a salad and it wasn’t great but with the pizza being so good, it overshadowed the salad. Probably thinking, how can one mess up a salad…but it was thrown together and while I love mushrooms, uncooked mushrooms on a salad with a bunch of olives, tomatoes and chopped onions just isn’t it. I’m very picky about pizza and this is the first place we’ve tried in Scottsdale and it’s a win.

I Ordered a pizza and some wings today via Doordash app for delivery. The order delivery link on their website goes to Doordash. Unfortunately, Doordash does not offer up a way to get half toppings (in my case half pep and half cheese) No problem, I’ll order whole large pie pepperoni and leave a comment about the half topping request “this restaurant does not accept comments” Ok, I’ll have to call. So I Check out and immediately call the restaurant to tell them to only put the pepperoni on half the pizza. The manager (I think he said his name is Nick) got on and told me “they could not modify the order. They had to make it exactly how it came in.”
huh? I’m not asking to change modify what was ordered or change the amount so keep trying.. “I just want pepperoni on half.
I’m asking for half the ingredient I paid for.”
“No, we have to do it exactly how it came in.”
“Can you put the whole order of pepperoni on half the pizza?”
“No, we have to do it exactly how it came in.”
They had not made the pie yet but still wouldn’t budge. I feel like he was more annoyed that the system did not allow for half topping pies and he was just making a point of it by not budging on my minor request.
So I then get on with Doordash support to cancel the order. Doordash customer service called the restaurant and spoke with the manager.. still “nope” Doordash tried to make it right by knocking off the delivery fee and tip but then the driver gets hosed so I kept the order.

Order a pizza for pick up will it was sitting out on the counter It was cold because of sitting out. Also waited 10 mins for the girl to find the pizza there were busy it turns out the pizza was behind her. I do pick up because its easier if I do delivery its 1 hour wait im close by so I pick up.
