I will NEVER go here again! I went alone and I guess that was a mistake. I walked in and the place was pretty empty. I was there a few minutes when another couple came in. They were approached and served LONG before I was even acknowledged! Then my so called server never took my order, another person did, did not bring me my food, another person did. Asked me twice if all was ok and when I asked for another drink, not only was I given a dirty look, it took forever to get it( a coke) and , of course , the server did not serve it! She was downright rude to me. Acted as if I had no business there. Obviously, she didn’t like I was alone is all I can figure! Even though I sat there, a long time , alone, she brought 2 menus an and got pissy when I said it was only me!

There must be a new ownership and their staff , well the waitress on Friday night, should NOT be representing this place because she was NOT Good representation

Telling others of this awful experience! Oh and the couple that came in after me? She waited on them the entire time, they received food, drinks and their bill long before me, who came in first! She would not even bring my check to me, I had to go to the bar to pay it!

I came ahead of a very large party of family and gave every warning I could that trouble was coming to the bar and grill for karaoke. This poor bartender had to break the news that there would be no karaoke to about thirty of my family members who had arrived to party. We still made the most of the night but it was truly a shame and the business and the karaoke dj missed out on a lot of money as a result.

The blackened shrimp, southwest egg rolls, and. Hush puppies are fantastic! The Parmesan truffle fries are better than Hop Doddy’s and theirs are good; the Parmesan truffle dip makes these fries some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Portions were huge! The freshly fried fish made these tacos really good; to get that Texan flavor they could use a few more toppings like a lemon wedge, cilantro, fresh hot salsa. The fish makes it good anyway you look at it. This restaurant has the best raspberry sweet tea, too!

Went for lunch. We were the only customers. The menu looked awesome. We ordered the wings, truffle fries, and the surf and turf. Surf and turf and truffle fries came out at the same time. The wings came out about 10 minutes later. The truffle fries were cold and soggy. The garlic aioli served with it was good. The fish was excellent however the burger was charred to a crisp. The wings were extremely undercooked. I had to take them home and air fry them. Our bill was almost $70 plus a 20% tip. Maybe we should have came during dinner with a more experienced cook? Definitely not worth the money. Very disappointing.

Wegners Lakeside is a must experience Destination. The Owners Rachel, and Tom pour their heart and soul into this place and it shows. They have Acoustic artists playing on ocassion and the night i went the show was phenominal, music and comedy in one. Everyone on the staff and even the crowd is pleasant to be around, and the food is Award Winning. I had the shrimp tacos that were to die for, and whiskey sours made just right. If you are looking for a destination to experience, let Wegners Lakeside be that place! 10/10

So disappointed this time around. Service was excellent as usual. Food was a major let down this time. Ordered the tenderloin sandwich, will not make that mistake again. Meat was dry, chewy and really tough. Seemed days old, just reheated. I’ve had jerky that was way easier to chew than this. I took the sandwich home so I could try to salvage it by drowning it in mayo. I hate wasting food. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Went here for the first time for my birthday! Great service! Big portions, great prices, and live music. The lake is across the street, it’s beautiful. Wish there was a bigger public access to the lake just to dip your feet in the water and sit and enjoy the view. The lake is a hidden gem… If you have a boat or pontoon it’s a great place to go …. Just a perfect size of a lake to enjoy! Unfortunately, there’s no big public access to the beach, just a small docking area.
