4/5 stars bc it needed flavor. Chips we’re fresh and cooked perfectly. Salsa was great with a tad bit of spice. Lemonade was on point My specialty taco bomba or something it’s called had very little flavor. However, Everything was fully cooked, especially my steak no pink, but still tender and juicy, great presentation, Atmosphere was great, service was great from not just my server but the other people I spoke to. Clean overall environment.

I had such a wonderful first visit to Barrio! We stopped in for a quick bite and margaritas, and I was blown away. The chips were perfectly fresh, and the margaritas were absolutely fabulous! Our server was amazing—so attentive and kind, checking on us often. I wish I could remember her name because she truly went above and beyond.
The next morning, I realized I had left my purse on the outdoor patio. I was so worried, but when I contacted the manager, he could not have been kinder. He had kept my purse safe for me, and it was such a relief to know there are still such honest, genuine people in this world.
From the service to the staff to the atmosphere, I was super impressed. The owner should be so proud of their entire team. This experience left me feeling grateful, happy, and eager to return. Thank you, Barrio, for making my first visit such a memorable one!

Hidden behind a terrible landlord’s construction.
The only complaint is their wifi, who thought the public wifi password should be their phone number? Easy to guess and your patrons have to look it up?!?!!
Sweet people and food is great.
Outdoor seating is wonderful, behind the front that’s under construction, but that’s the landlord oh did I mention the building owner is the pits?

The perfect summer patio! Private and pleasant and has some shade. Tacos are made to order – you pick the ingredients and toppings. Nice for lunch or a light dinner.

Not only is it too expensive for simple dishes that really should not be over $10 but the supposed build your own nachos for $5 That was supposed to last from 6:00 p.m. till close were not available apparently and I couldn’t even find anything that I genuinely wanted to eat the supposed menu is weird and I have no idea how I’m supposed to order with a freaking ticket like what? The menu was confusing as all get out the supposed deals for the weekend or after a certain time we’re completely unavailable and some staff were just kind of like what the hell do you want? Gave the energy of I don’t really care you’re not one of my regulars you’re not here all the time so I don’t really care about you and it made me feel very unwelcome and the person I was with and I left without getting anything because we felt very displaced. Would love nothing more but to give it a try again I love to try places I’ve never been and would love to change this review into an amazing experience

Go see Ember at Barrio!!! Wonderful server and totally set me straight on what to order. I absolutely love this place. Great staff all around, great food, amazing artwork. You just can’t go wrong!!! ❤️

Pretty good food overall. The concept is interesting, and the staff were helpful (if a bit overwhelmed despite the relatively sparse dining room). Definitely make tacos to your own tastes, and I recommend getting the stoner tortilla option, and I actually liked the vegetarian protein options more than the meat (I think they had a sweet potato option or something similar). The interior is a bit busy, but fun to look at. The tequila menu is large but a bit underwhelming, so this is great if you want tequila but not if you have a specific preference for something.

I will never go to this Barrio location again. This is the second time it took upwards of 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge our table. We ordered our food and it was the smallest portions I’ve ever seen. I know this will make my table sound terrible but we’ve been to different locations, multiple times over many years and never experienced anything like this.
One member of my table had no cheese on her bowl, when we asked the waiter to correct this, he inspected her bowl and pointed out one singular piece of shredded cheese and said “the kitchen went light”.
I ordered lettuce on my bowl and counted literally 5 pieces of lettuce. We asked for more and the waiter said “that’s really pushing it” and walked away.
We would have paid extra to have it corrected but we were not even given the choice.
Then when it came time to tip, he stood over us and watched as we paid.
I don’t expect to be treated like royalty but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Myself and the people I went with will never be going back to this location.

We super enjoyed our first visit. The location and vibe are great, we were greeted promptly in a friendly manner. Daniel and Ember were super nice and made us feel so welcome! They even posed with my traveling plush, Whalie!
Ember P (name on receipt) was a huge help helping with the menu. The chips were fresh and shrimp tacos with pineapple amazing. Everything Ember said was spot on. She went above and beyond in everything, consistently. Any establishment is lucky to have her.

Good margaritas, excellent and affordable build your own tacos, and great happy hour deals with a good patio or indoor bar space. Great place for a quick bite with a friend or a large get together with a group!
