New in Salem downtown, we tried every kind of tacos and everything was super delicious, we also got a big passion fruit Margarita with jalapeños OMG!!! we didn’t expect the flavor. It was sooooo awesome (and kick hard to ). Our server was Nelson. He was super nice and recommended us good food. It is a cool place to chill, eat tacos, and drink.

Great place to eat late at night. The first night the margarita was amazing so we came back again the following day but the margarita were more water down. It was disappointing, not sure bc they were more busy and they rushed it. But the food was great so far. It reminds me of Chipotle in a way. I order a bowl with my choice of food and it was amazing. They even had black beans which many restaurants don’t. If I come back to Salem and eat here it would be the food alone the drinks weren’t impressive or we just had a bad night to order some, idk.

Place was really nice. Ordered guacamole and I’ve bought better at the local grocery store. Waitress was amazing but I asked a host for something and he was super rude. My burrito bowl was so bland I had to dump the rest of the salsa into it. The tacos were cold. Just not a good experience at all. Probably never go back. Sorry. 2 stars because the waitress was great and the place is really nice looking.

Try the La Tierra! You won’t be sorry!! The coca-cola marinated steak is the bomb!!! All the tacos we tried were delicious, but that one was our favorite. The bowl wasn’t our favorite and was spicier than the 3 pepper tacos, but was still good overall. And the space was so enjoyable. As an artist I had a hard time tearing my eyes away from the walls

Welcome to the neighborhood @barrio_salem ! I really enjoyed my first visit. The tres amigos was a great way to try different flavors. The special tacos were delicious. I had the tocino or bacon, and the shrimp both were fresh and full of flavor. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. One was working her first shift, and she nailed it with the Mango Margarita she made for me!

I recently visited Barrio and was greeted by Sophia who was super friendly and explained the concept of the restaurant to me. It was my first visit and loved the decor and vibe as soon as I walked in ! My server, Georgia was again very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She made great suggestions and I was thrilled with my cocktails and tacos !! If I’m in Salem again, I’ll be sure to visit this cool restaurant with awesome staff !

This place is an absolute gem and I highly recommend it to anyone. We stumbled upon it after fighting for parking for over an hour on Columbus Day weekend and let me tell you, I’m glad we did. The place also has a día de los muertos vibe which fits in perfectly with the rest of salem. The hostess told us it would be about a 50 minute wait which we thought was probably typical for any place during peak tourist season so we put our name in. Very pleased that they let us use the bathroom while we waited. We probably only waited about 30-40 minutes and we were texted that our table was ready. We were seated and ready to eat. Our waiter, Xavier, was excellent. Very patient with my chaotic group as we tried to figure out our order (we were a mess because we knew we had to eat in time to make a tour after). He made great recommendations and was in great spirits despite how busy he must’ve been. I told him I’d write this review and I’m following through on that!! Also please pay for this man’s parking, he said he has to pay $25 every day during peak season just to get to work!! He is great and you are lucky to have him. The food was also amazing which really sealed the deal. The customizable tacos make this enjoyable even for the pickiest of eaters. Definitely have to try this place if you’re in town. You won’t be disappointed.
