I have waited what seems like a very long time for what has been worth the wait. Barrio is so good not only is the food delicious, but the place is so clean. If you want friendly people to help you , this is definitely the place. The signature sauce, always perfect. Everything is always consistent so delicious. Barrio is one of my favorite restaurants? I am writing this only to express my opinion on the ethics of the owners. When I was there this past week, I seen 1 owner walking around. A young lady came from the kitchen to help me with my order. She was very kind and polite to me, so when I cashed out I put a 22% tip for her. (To the server, if you read this do not own up to any responses by the owners. Please don’t loose your job over my opinion.) By the register, there is a can for tips, that had a lot of single with a few $5.00 bills showing. I asked her if the tips are split between all the worker for the day. She looked a bit shy and said they do not get the tip money. The owners take it. I stood there for a few seconds, I was in awe, with that response. Due to my ethics, I will never leave a tip there again. I will eat there again, the food is fine. Just use your own discretion when going there on the tipping part. I hope the servers get paid $15.00-$17.00 per hour if they do not receive the tips.

Omg the food was so good! The rice was seasoned, they had four different types of chicken, mild, crispy, shredded jerk, and hot. They let you sample the meat if you are unsure and I ended up getting the hot and jerk chicken. It was some of the best chicken I’ve had. The portions are huge, and the adobo sauce is super good. You can even make your meal a combo for an extra 2$ and that adds tortilla chips and a drink. The young man who helped us was so kind. You could tell he wanted us to be pleased with the food and service. It was cheaper than chipotle, and qudoba and the servings were twice as big. I will definitely be back!

On first look, everything is very clean! Staff is super friendly and excited for you to try everything. Almost everything they have is made IN HOUSE!! I got the burrito with bang bang shrimp and cannot recommend enough this place over Chipotle or Qdoba. Barrio is. Far superior is taste, cleanliness, and atmosphere.

I wish them the best of luck. The burrito itself was really good, but the person who wrapped it didn’t seem very experienced—I’m guessing they might be new to the food business and just need a little time to learn. What honestly upset me more was walking in and seeing the place empty, because the food truly deserves more business. They’re likely still new, and I really hope they get the recognition they deserve because the food is genuinely good. I’ll definitely continue to be a repeat customer.
I also wish they offered halal options. While the city itself may not have a large Muslim population, the surrounding areas do, and I think adding halal options could significantly boost their business and attract even more customers.
