This place is pretty decent. Ordered two hot dogs with fries and they were decent; similar to what i’d make at home. (bun was not grilled, hot dog was nothing special) Got their signature chocolate stout cake and it was HUGE. Also was very dense and filling. Shared it with four people total and even then we couldn’t finish it. Cake definitely brings ratings up.

Nice little spot for a quick meal and a good beer. Plenty of parking and room inside and out. Oysters are shucked fresh which is awesome. Had the summer shandy which was tasty. Got the Plowman’s Lunch along with some oysters as a pre-dinner snack which was perfect!

Went there for dinner on a busy night during a holiday. The staff was very friendly and responsive. That was even more impressive knowing they were seating and serving two parties of 20+ while I was there. Even with those big parties, we were sat in a reasonable amount of time, waited on promptly, and food and drinks came out quickly. The food was good, and I recommend the brown ale for those who partake. Well def visit again my next time in the area.

Cannot recommend Barrington enough! Every staff member I interacted with was very pleasant. Short wait for a table, but the food and beer were fantastic. It was bucketing rain when I was there, but I can’t wait to come back in nicer weather to try their beer garden.

This place happened to be next to our hotel, and I’m so glad we ended up there! Their Scottish Ale (pictured) was utterly delicious, with a rich, stout-like mouthfeel and a slightly sweet flavor. The barbecued brisket was wonderful, juicy and delicious (although the barbecue sauce, while better than average, was not as good as the brisket itself); the mac-and-cheese was yummy and decadent, and the cornbread was soft and sweet. This place alone is worth a trip to Great Barrington.

I came here with my family early on a Saturday evening, and the place was packed! Clearly a very popular spot, we waited a while for a table. The two hostesses working seemed confused and angry with each other about something and kept getting distracted from seating people. The wait staff were very nice and attentive, and the basic pub food was very good. We were warned the kitchen was backed up and it did take a while for the entrees to come out, but the beer was good and cold. The outside patio seating was great, but inside it was sweltering hot. I’d probably come back again when it is less crowded, later in the evening (maybe late afternoon dining is big in Great Barrington?).

We went to Barrington Brewery after a hike at Bash Bish Falls. The Scottish ale and 1911 cider were great. The natchos were good and the Brewer’s Pretzel was also good. Service was good. We sat outside which it was a beautiful day.

Pleasant experience, enjoyed being outdoors and friendly staff. Food was good, and portions were reasonable. Oysters were outstanding. Burger was good. Fish-n-chips we’re tasty, fries really good, fish a little oily and coleslaw a pass. My wife loves Porter’s and Stouts, but none were available so she had a brown ale. I had the Octoberfest. Tasty, but didn’t knock my socks off. Will I be back? Possibly on my next buddy ride, but may look around for something else

Had a pretty good time here! Love the location. Lots of space for dining—wait staff was friendly. I had the brisket—I will say, it wasn’t what I expected but the flavor was really good. The chocolate cake slice was huge and tasty. Would go again.

We were a party of three adults and a child. We ordered Cajun chicken sandwich, corn beef Reuben, chicken cobb salad and a kid’s hot dog with fries. All of them were delightful and properly sized – we did not feel stuffed nor hungry, and we had space left for desserts.
