The only, and the best, Indian food in Laredo. I’ve had my fair share of Indian food from different places and this one ranks near the top!
The atmosphere is great with little lanterns at the table when the sun goes down. Good music, not too loud. The scent of fresh spices fills the air and a helpful well-dress wait staff is always available.
The food is delicious and portions are generous. I recommend the Biryani and the breads. Gotta try all the breads! Especially if you get a curry.
The wait staff isn’t perfect, but they’re all super nice and helpful. If you ask for anything, they will definitely try to accommodate you which is a big plus!
Definitely worth a try if you’ve never had Indian food. And even if you have, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find this level of quality nested in Laredo.

We came to Laredo, TX and found this beautiful gem that just opened a month ago. Our server, Oscar L., was super kind and attentive. He recommended we try the Chili Paneer appetizer (it was so good!) We also ordered Wings, Chicken Biryani, Naan, and a Mango Lassi.
The portions are generous—perfect for two people, but we actually had enough leftovers for another 1–2 meals. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommend 100%!

I was skeptical about trying Indian food in Laredo but I was very impressed with the authenticity of the flavors. I highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to experience a different cuisine.

Went for dinner earlier today with a friend and it was really good! I dont really eat meat, but they had a couple vegetarian options to choose from so that was really nice. Our waiter Martin was lovely, very attentive and gave us great recommendations. Overall, a very nice place to have dinner!

I came to Barricas on a Thursday evening around 7pm and was served immediately, however there was only one other small group of people so that’s to be expected. Our waiter was funny and helped me and my friends understand the menu, portions, specials, etc. I ordered the Butter Chicken (Extra Spicy), the Paneer, Samosas, a mango yogurt drink I forgot the name of, and Garlic Naan. All items were throughly seasoned, fresh, and flavorful. Extremely spicy and delicious!
However, there was some cons. These are more nitpicky, so be aware. The soda machine was broken, so there was no foutain drinks. The lemonade offered was very bland. The water provided was also lukewarm with a small amount of ice. The wait time was a bit long considering we were the only patrons for most of our stay. (1+ hour to receive our entrees) Also, for the amount of food I do wish the prices were a little lower. I shouldn’t have to pay 14 dollars for 3 small samosas, regardless of flavor. The cost of the Butter Chicken w/Rice was 21, but it doesn’t include Naan. The Garlic Naan is 5 dollars, which I also believe is quite high. I’d rather spend 23-24 if it meant the Naan was included in the Entree.

As a truck driver, I’ve been fortunate enough to try food from all over the place, and I can confidently say this is by far one of my favorite spots. Every dish we ordered was amazing. The chili chicken was absolutely delicious, and the salmon was to die for! hands down one of the best I’ve had. We also tried the butter chicken with garlic naan, and both were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was genuinely amazing. Since this is my hometown, I will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely loved this place! The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, and every dish tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The spices were perfectly balanced, and you can really tell a lot of care goes into the cooking. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with recommendations. On top of that, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone craving great Indian food!

Just to start off vibe of this place is so charming! I was surprised it was kinda empty inside because when I got my food I was astounded that it was delicious. Guys if you’re scared to try something new this is a safe place to do it. I took my sister to this place and she ended up loving it too. I can’t speak for the buffet they have here as I haven’t tried it but it’s so yummy I swear I would eat here everyday if I could.
Because the plates are so massive you can honestly split with another person!! And sometimes the chef comes out and says hi! Super cool place I love the waiters here too super attentive without feeling like they’re interrupting. Overall really cool place please come check this place out I’m really surprised they don’t have more people here.
