Barrelhouse South has the hottest tickets in SAV with regional + touring live bands every Wed-Sat, late-night DJ’s, billiards in the basement, and a kitchen serving and delivering from 11am-3am everyday! We carry all your favorite drinks and have plenty of room to hang out and just have a good time. Our unique lighting provides a cozy and quaint atmosphere. We have all types of live music playing through the week, from blues and country, to funk and jam bands. We’re a great venue to come check out any big sporting event on one of our several big-screen TVs and an enormous, 25 foot projection screen. Amazing bar tenders and great vibes downstairs. Reasonable drinks and a great place to catch a game. My only complaints is that the pool table was constantly getting the White ball stuck and the pool tables were 1.50 a game. That’s pretty damn high but nonetheless a great bar overall. (UPDATE 11/23/25) I came back here for the Randy’s cheeseburger picnic (trailer park boys) and it was amazing. Once again pretty good drink prices and the upstairs is perfect for a show. I’d really like to see hardcore,punk,or metal shows put on here. Perfect little venue

Had a blast at the barrel house, Jeff and Layla were a great, I’m a tourist and not familiar with the area they made the night life amazing and the atmosphere is dim with great music. They told me about all the local spots and places to visit while making me great drink. I never had to wait for drink! They were on top of it. Jeff is awesome told great dad jokes and Layla was a stunning young lady that made my night with stories. All around great experience I would love to to visit again!

Came here on a Saturday night and it was very crowded! There was a $5 cover charge. Upstairs there was a DJ and tons of people dancing. Downstairs was a more relaxed vibe with a ton of pool tables and chairs. Downstairs only had one functioning bathroom though and there was a very long line

A classic Savannah warehouse type bar that is definitely more of a late night establishment. Saying that I really enjoyed my visit earlier on in the evening and enjoyed excellent service and a nice music mix.
Nice beer selection with a good mix of local brews also . Guinness in a plastic glass is never my favourite thing but pretty much understandable with how busy they must get especially when live music is playing.

Walked by and heard good music and stopped in and had 2 of their Monday Night Field Trip wheat ales. Erik was the bartender and answered my questions and recommended me that beer off what I liked and it was perfect. I am normally a pale ale or blonde beer guy, but it was a great choice. Erik was knowledgeable and actually gave me some pointers to look for when bars don’t have my preference. Great service. Great vibes. My only recommendation is that those bathrooms are pretty dirty, but I frequently go to bars, so that’s not a huge deal. Keep it up. Service from Erik made it a 5-star experience.

The establishment itself was ok. The “good ol’ boys” that were in the corner bullying people were not ok and can be better regulated. Besides the idiots trying to ruin the not for people trying to have a responsible and respectful night, it was good. I’d strongly advise unruly crowd control. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
