I was at first hesitant with Barrel’s new food menu. But their new taco set up is a GREAT IMPROVE. And May I say Sal and Paige are some of the best bartenders I’ve ever seen. The professional mannerisms but yet ability to make a new patron feel like he’s been here for years is OUTSTANDING. Above and beyond the call of duty, promote above peers!

Paid a $10 cover to be given a very mild experience. Upstairs dancing/downstairs pool/bar games, & a small food counter to order food from. The place was lackluster, and it smelled REALLY awful- the entire upstairs smelled rancid. It was so awful that my group only stayed downstairs. The DJ (or whoever was making announcements) on set made some misogynistic comments… it felt out of place & weird. Bartender didn’t allow me to keep an open tab (?) It was my first time there so maybe it was a bad night, but i’m not sure I could be convinced to spend my money there again. Edit: yes! it was st patrick’s day, but at the time I visited, it was not overly busy and no different than a weekend crowd.

One of the “better” clubs downtown Savannah to play. In house PA,soundman and large stage. Very cool vibe, and a 2nd bar in the basement filled with games and pool tables. The staff were awesome and polite. Very cool

Went on a Saturday night! 5$ admission fee. There was great live music. The DJ who took over was good too. It was pretty crowded and it’s better to take early entry and chill around the pool table in the basement. The waiting line gets long as the night sinks in.

Best bar in Savannah! Always good music and even better atmosphere. When there is a cover, it’s cheap, and the line doesn’t take long at all! You have live music upstairs and can chill, drink, and play skee ball or pool downstairs. They have a great selection of drinks from craft beer to bourbon, to mixed drinks. Always my top suggestion for out of towners or the locals!

We went here and they wouldn’t let us in because my husband carried my in. They bascally kicked us out…… they weren’t nice at all, we did nothing wrong.

I have been coming to this place since the early 80s. I’ve seen a lot of changes. Good, bad, and ugly. I love a true bar with really good security, u can’t stop destiny. It is what it is. Good people and I am thinking about buying the bar and keep the staff. Has pool tables and we’ll worth going to. (Lt. Foot soldier . 10 kudos.

Fun bar-no country at all though and we went on a Friday because it was listed as a country bar. We had fun but they didn’t play any country music
