Barrelhouse is a friendly contemporary bar conveniently located in Downtown Burlingame in the heart of the SF Peninsula. We offer a great selection of beer, wine, spirits and craft cocktails. While we are not a full service restaurant we do offer a variety of Empanadas and Charcuterie to snack on. For larger groups we use a caterer. With amiable service and cozy décor Barrelhouse is great for walk-ins, large groups and company events.
Trendy joint pairs pub grub with craft beer & cocktails, plus occasional live music & a patio.

The Barrelhouse is very popular and has a friendly staff. This was my second visit and both times were outside, seated or standing in an alley. The venue has heaters and is hip, but it traps every noise and it is impossible to carry a conversation – we read each other lips and left without a voice. The Barrelhouse offers some warm appetizers and charcuterie too. Everything we tried has appealing look, but when the warm appetizers get cold, they are tasteless. The best part IMHO are the beautiful and tasty cocktails. Unfortunately the glasses are so full with ice, the actual drink is only a handful of sips.

We had a great experience hosting a small event here. Drinks were delicious and the charcuterie board was great for the party. It was a little loud, but we were lucky to be able to move outside to the patio with heaters.

Really Great drinks! Excellent service! Horderves platter is a good selection. Patio is really nice and comfortable. Pet friendly. Located next to a pizza place if you’re really hungry and the outside patio connects to the other patio so it’s easy access. You can also stay in the bar and have the food from the neighboring restaurant served to you. Excellent staff!
