Was crossing the state heading home from a family wedding with our little fur baby. Found the Barracuda 2 doing some dog friendly out door seating social media searches. We love supporting locals and glad we came here. Our super friendly waitress Geani sat us on the outside patio with our little dog. Geani answered all our questions and had great recommendations. We loved the fresh jalapeño popper appetizer. Not the typical frozen box breaded poppers most dive bars serve. The bacon cheeseburger was fresh and delicious. So fresh I was wondering if I was watching their siblings grazing in the field across the street while enjoying this perfectly cooked and seasoned burger. Looking forward to introducing our biker friends on a weekend ride to this hidden gem. Definitely a great local spot who supports Vetrans and first responders. ❤️

The atmosphere is amazing both inside and out! The food is even more amazing! The worst part of tonight’s experience is trying to figure out what to choose because there were sooooooo many great choices! My son had the brisket and macaroni and he said the sauce was the best and had a unique wonderful taste! My husband had the barbecue pulled pork platter and he too said it was the best barbecue pulled pork he had ever had. I had the BLT with fries and it was the best BLT I have ever had! The Jalapeño poppers were a great start to the meal. My daughter had half a chicken quesadilla and she said it was great! The owner and cook even sat with us for a while…how cool is that!

Dont understand why such a high rating on Google. It is a hole in the wall place but it was clean and servers friendly and efficient. Just found the food to be average tasting. The peanut butter pie was the highlight and I would highly recommend. It came out frozen but enjoyed it.

Fantastic food at reasonable prices. Everything is fresh made. The home made jalapeño poppers were great. Had to get them after reading other reviews. Swiss Mushroom Burger was fresh made and cooked perfectly. Shepard Pie was also delicious. I would describe our lunch as comfort food with a gourmet flair. Definitely worth the stop. Home made Key Lime Pie was a very tasty ending.

This little gem is definitely worth the trip out to the edge of town. We had the blackened tilapia and it was the best grilled fish I’ve ever eaten. The bartender waited on our table and gave us excellent service. Barracuda’s 2.0 is very clean but still has the old Florida bar style and decor. We had jalapeño popper’s and blackened shrimp for appetizers, and I would definitely recommend you try both. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner and he was so generous to even share a “secret” seasoning recipe with us. This will always be a must go to spot for us when we are visiting Okeechobee.

We were looking for a place in the area to meet up with family to eat lunch. We can from Melbourne and our family came over from port Charlotte. The outside appearance was skeptical but we were extremely happy with our food. The appetizers came out hot and fresh. All 8 of us got different items off the menu and it was delicious. We were meeting friends half way for the both of us. Two hours from Naples for us. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, prices and service. We got to spend a few hours together sharing laughs and great food. We had no idea what we were walking into, but we’d make the drive again, for sure!!

I had the trio salad because after Christmas travels I was tired of rich food and fast food. The owner served up freshly made egg salad, plus chicken salad and tuna salad on mixed greens with tomatoes and onions. The ranch dressing was homemade! Everything tasted so good!
Plus they had a sign up for homemade peanut butter pie. I had to get that for Steve. It was fresh and good. I haven’t had good peanut butter pie since we lived in Nebraska. You just don’t see it as much in Florida.
Highly recommend this establishment.
