But please listen to the other reviews and do not eat here.
We had a terrible Woodlands lunch so I was hoping this more casual place would have some nice and simple bar food.
I got excited when I saw that the burger looked to be cooked to temp (vs the smash burger at the Woodlands), but when we went to order it was clear that the menu is misleading in that regard, as everyone gets the burger cooked the same way.
By cooked, I mean it looks like they grabbed the patty out of ye ol burger vat. It was one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had in the entirety of my life. The texas toast was cold and soggy. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the “spiced remoulade” that was on there? That tasted like lemon cream, I kid you not. Did they choose the wrong sauce? It was so bad it was almost comical.
The wings were in the same camp. They were somehow so gummy that when you bit into one, the skin stretched like some kind of horrible chicken skin stretch Armstrong. Husband and I each ate one and then fed the rest to a stray cat. I was going to bed hungry, but that cat sure wasn’t! (Although I hope it’s doing okay after eating that wing meat.)
Service was great and the place is awesome to hang out at, but dear god please get some better food!!!
