We went for the first time. And I had the Arroz con pollo (chicken and rice). My wife had the shrimp scampy. It was very impressive with all the addons that it came with. Food was really tasty. And great portion so good hungry.
We will go back!

Had a fantastic brunch at The Barnhill Café in Flagler Beach!

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with just the right mix of beachy charm and laid-back comfort.

The food was fresh and delicious—every dish tasted homemade and full of flavor. I especially loved the strawberry Nutella crepe, and the bloody Mary was spot on too.

The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this little spot is a gem. Highly recommend for a relaxing and tasty brunch!

We had an excellent dinner! Sea bass was so delicious! Waitress seemed a little inexperienced or maybe having an off night. We observed the other waitress giving great service. We had the banana foster crepe for dessert. Huge portion. Glad we split it. It was very good. We will definitely come me back!

Their Valentine’s Day menu, delicious! Their eggplant parmesian was NOT burnt. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The live music, the only singer that can actually sing on that beach!

We had a great experience here, group of 7. 4 got crab cakes, 1 crepe, 1 pasta, 1 fish. The crab cakes are all crab. Just some egg white binder and Old Bay. Lovely! Nice remoulade too.

Cassie is the new GM and she is great.

Food and service were great! Ambiance was very casual and didn’t match menu. Bar area was not terribly inviting- small and Cramped. Sounds silly but menu was plastic covered like a diner and looks al a carte when in fact you do get one side with your entree.

Dessert- banana fosters crepe was amazing!!!

Would definitely go back but expect a much more casual dining experience than we were led to believe it was!!

Barnhill’s Cafe in Flagler Beach is an absolute gem; a cozy spot that delivers one unforgettable dining experience.

It all started when my wife grabbed lunch there with her girlfriend. She came home raving about it, declaring they’d just had some of the best burgers of her life. She insisted we head back for dinner at the next opportunity, and who was I to argue?

We made it our date night destination soon after, and from the moment we walked in, we were hooked. The waitstaff and owner were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was warm and inviting, like discovering a hidden treasure tucked away from the bustle.

But as wonderful as the service and vibe were, they took a backseat to the star of the show: the food. It exceeded even our high expectations.

My wife, still enchanted from her lunch visit, couldn’t resist ordering another burger. I went for the “Rasta Pasta,” which exploded with bold flavors and came in a generous portion that left me satisfied for hours.

We later learned from a neighbor that this place is a passion project run by a local couple, and it shows in every detail; you don’t achieve this level of quality by chance. It’s the kind of heartfelt spot that keeps you coming back.

We’ll absolutely be returning soon, and if you’re in the area, you should too. Don’t miss out!

We’ve been wanting to try these guys since they opened and finally got around to it last weekend – why did we wait so long?!

The service was solid – friendly, informative and checking on us just enough, bringing boxes when he saw that we were slowing down with our huge sandwiches (stuffed from our appetizer).

The setting is right in the heart of Flagler Beach, near everything – the beach, shops, ice cream, parks are all just a block or two away.

The food here was the reason Barnhill shined. We were blown away by the street corn croquettes appetizer. So much flavor, so unique. Can I buy a bag of them for the freezer at home? Then our huge sandwiches – Maryland crab cake sandwich and smash burger (a double burger) – and fresh and delicious vegetable medley and petal fries.

Lastly, they have lattes (cold or hot) with some great flavor options – we each had one (raspberry and shortbread).

Everything was pretty reasonably priced and outperformed other higher priced options in the area. Orders were all correct and came out quickly.
