Barney’s is fantastic. I’m a long time fan of the san vicente location and they’ve really outdone themselves with calabasas. It’s a beautiful, clean and spacious location. The absolute best part is that the quality of the food is always consistent no matter what I order on the menu. Today i had a chopped chicken salad and the salmon burger and they were BOTH perfection. On top of all that, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and attentive. i always appreciate getting their suggestions on popular items on the menu and i’ve never been disappointed. definitely a must try spot for good service and a killer burger

I LOVE this restaurant! The food and staff are fabulous! You definitely have to try their Baja Burger with a pretzel bun. I got the BBQ salad this past time and it was delicious. The general manager Paige was also there and was soo nice. Will be coming back again!

On Valentine’s Day, my daughter and I went to Barney’s for a nice mommy daughter dinner date. We have been here many times before and enjoyed our meals there, until the other night. Our waiter Wayne was all over the place from the moment we sat down, bringing us items we did not even order. And the manager Tyler (if that’s even his actual name) had absolutely no customer service skills and was very rude.
I ordered the Baja burger that comes with Avocado ($20.95). The burger came out with a sliver of avocado. I asked if they could add more since there was barely any. For a premium priced burger, and it comes with the ingredients stated, there should be a good amount of those ingredients! When I got the bill they charged the additional avocado as “extra”. They did not mention I would be charged extra otherwise I would have not asked for it.
I asked the manager Tyler to remove the extra charge for the reasons stated above and he (The manager) argued with me that I “asked for extra avocado” when in fact I did not ask for extra avocado. The manager had zero customer service, the worst in fact, and both he and the waiter were very demeaning.
On top of that, they were upset that I asked for a kids bun for my daughter because I was unaware that Barney’s had changed their bun style and we we were used to the ones previously, also the burger that I asked for well done actually had some pink in it. The main reason I am upset is because it was my daughter’s meal that was affected and on Valentine’s Day of all days! This used to be a special place to me but with this Managerial and waitstaff I will not be coming back. I’m super disappointed in Barney’s since we are locals and are frequent customers.

We spent $70 on what should’ve been a $40 meal. That meal was 2 burgers, 1 shared small fries, and 1 beer. $70…. My wife’s burger was cooked properly, mine was noticeably undercooked.
Will absolutely at no point ever return and pay those kinds of prices.

We recently dined at Barney’s Gourmet Hamburgers in Calabasas Commons, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Leah was our server and truly one of the best we’ve had in a long time. In a time where tipping culture often feels excessive, Leah’s exceptional service made us want to tip generously, which is exactly how it should be. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome.
The food was absolutely delicious, with every bite better than the last. Even when they forgot something, they were quick to fix it without any fuss. My girlfriend and I stopped in because the burgers looked so good from outside. We weren’t let down at all. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the Gastropub burger, it was out of this world delicious. Also the pickle chips were surprisingly above average delicious! The atmosphere is very chill and our waiter Brandon S. was super chill and helpful. He made sure everything was on point and politely checked in on us as we dined. I will definitely be returning on my next trip from NYC!
