I really wish it was better for me I wanted to like it so bad but idk few things made it just blahhh The portions are excellent! But I feel still needed flavor idk maybe my luck for ordering at 2am but who knows. The corn bread pieces were really dry and flavorless I added some butter but still not good. The chicken definitely needed flavor and I would say an extra 2-3 minute time added in grease. The fried was good not too thin and not overly fried just perfect but definitely lacks flavor and a bit more cooking time in my opinion. The fish was amazing great flavor but definitely a bit on the salty side. Mac and cheese was good and the sweet potato was good. Customer service was excellent. By the young lady. She was very informative and friendly. The atmosphere was empty at two A.M. but everything was clean and spotless. Nothing negative to say on that.

This is 100% my fav place I’ve had in San Antonio. THE FOOD is insanely good, everything is perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was ready fast, customer service is great. It legit make your soul happy lol.

This place is debatable with my friends and I so I will write my review and there’s is not as agreeing as my 4 stars there’s would be less. I had the fried fish plate with mac and collard greens with a corn bread. The fish was a little salty I wish they had a lemon, the corn bread is dense not enjoyable. The mac and cheese should only be called mac because it’s not cheesy but it is flavorful, I enjoyed the greens. We did wish they served sweet tea the drink option says they sell water but they stated they did not. Hospitality wise they were nice. My friends fried shrimp was good and my other friends chicken was OK, to me not enough flavor and batter. The food is fresh to order so it’s a wait but it’s steaming hot. They should offer a mixed platter fish, chicken, and shrimp. It’s just an open window, we ate outside of it in our car. Oh and the chocolate cake was small and a miss as well. For the price you can’t beat, you have plenty of food for a great price.

I have ate her before and it was hands down amazing. The taste of the food was definitely flavorful. The price was a little high but the quality made it worth it! The catfish plate was well worth it. Along with the steak and cheese rolls was just phenomenally wonderful !!!

New location, same delicious recipes! From the catfish to the greens, this place does not miss. Highly recommend the Mac and sweet potato, as well! I just left this place fully stuffed and my mouth is still watering writing this review. Y’all gotta try it! You WILL NOT regret it.

The owner of this place deserves everything good in life. I paused eating just to write this review. The catfish is crispy and well seasoned, the mac n cheese is fire and the greens and sweet potatoes are incredible. I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer

Tried this place out and I’m glad I stopped by. We ordered catfish and collard greens and Mac and cheese, the Mac and cheese is , the collard greens are bitter as they should be and good, the fish was moist and crispy in the outside. I will say I ordered shrimp with my fish and I’m disappointed it did not come with my plate. I got home and my shrimp was missing and I was charged for it. Really bummed about that. My daughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo it was creamy and yummy she loved that it was cheesy. We also Ordered the steak and cheeese rolls which was a hit everyone of us liked it. Hubby ordered the fried chicken with collard greens and Mac and cheese and loved it all. Ordered banana pudding I wasn’t a fan. It’s more like a banana cake with some whip cream on top I’ll pass on that next time. Parking there’s not a lot of it. But the food is really good. I’ll return I’ll just have to check my bag to make sure all that I ordered is in there. Not leaving with out my shrimp next time. I asked the cashier she said everything was in there. The cashier was nice. She was drinking on the job which I guess she had a modelo. I mean to each it’s own. The food though is good, drinks they had soda and water. She said they are working on Koolaid, I’ll be back. Glad we found this hidden gem
