This is a delightful place. The ambiance is very inviting. We had an enjoyable breakfast. There is a small gift shop as well. Nice service. If you are looking for a well done family business that has good food, good service in a very inviting space – you’ll enjoy yourself here. Seating both indoors and out as well as a nice sized parking area – all in the middle of a quaint small town.

There wasn’t one thing here we didn’t love. When first walking in we were greeted by the owner/hostess/waitress and she gave a very warm welcome. We were so taken aback by the scenery and feel of the building. The owner offered to show us before pictures of the building and then informed us that they got it done in ONLY 60 days! Extremely impressive! While we waited, after we ordered food, we checked out the gift shop. The merchandise within the gift shop was gorgeous and had good ambiance. We wanted to get one of everything!

Such a wonderful place!! Food was excellent and the owner was a delight to speak to! Small local family business and they make you feel like friends as soon as you walk in the door. The pancakes were wonderful!! Do yourself a favor and check it out!

WHAT A FIND on Route 63 in Westmoreland Center, next to the town offices. Can I leave a 6 star review? This place is amazing, and well worth a drive, only 15 minutes from Keene. A lot of thought went into creating a comfy atmosphere including seating inside and out, with attention to every detail. The blackboard is filled with many scrumptious options for breakfast and lunch at great prices, and beverages include beer, sangria, and canned cocktails. The staff are all very accommodating and work hard at making your visit a great one. Want to make your day? Visit the Barn and Thistle, it’s a special destination.

I had heard about this place and had been meaning to try it. Why did I wait this long. Filled every need. Cozy,friendly and the food was good. Had breakfast and did try a baked good. Let me down a bit as it was dry but will definately give the same cake another try next time. This place is a gem.

Wonderful. Upscale comfort food for reasonable prices. Homey, well decorated interior. Wheelchair accessible. The ladies that run it are a joy. A combination of years of experience, heart, and pride in their jobs synergize into an experience that would make you want to return even if they only sold bowls of water (but their soup is spectacular).

Barn and Thistle welcomes customers into a warm atmosphere with twinkling fairy lights and Frank Sinatra quietly playing in the background, the scent of bacon and cinnamon rolls wafting through the air. The menu is simple, typical breakfast or lunch fair, but of the utmost quality and always served with a pleasant smile. An excellent place to enjoy a meal!
