Barley Republic in St Augustine was a great experience from start to finish. My wife and I shared a small plate of fish and chips and it was absolutely delightful. The fish was cooked perfectly with a light crisp batter and flaky tender meat inside. The flavor was spot on and not greasy at all which is hard to get right.
The portion size was ideal for sharing and the presentation was simple but inviting. It felt like comfort food done correctly without trying too hard. Every bite was consistent and satisfying.
Overall the food quality really stood out and made us glad we stopped in. We would absolutely order the fish and chips again and would recommend Barley Republic to anyone looking for a solid meal in St Augustine.

Best food I’ve ever had! The pub fries are SO GOOD! Not too salty or small, the perfect balance of potato! The Beyond Burger is wonderful! And the cheesecake is the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! The service was awesome, attentive, and quick. I love this restaurant!

Great spot in St. Augustine! I had the stir fry and my husband had the lamb burger — both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. There was a small mix-up while splitting the bill, but it was handled quickly. Overall, amazing food and a place we’d definitely come back to!

Order the Rueben. It is soooo good. I’m picky about Rueben’s and I have to say this is one of the best I’ve ever had. The Dill Ranch dressing was out the world. Unexpected, but nice crisp lettuce and the cubed carrots went perfectly. Just the right amount of dill. Lorelei was great, very attentive.

I really love this place. I was on a trip for my birthday weekend and we had our dog with us. And this place was very accepting of dogs. They had a great doggy menu, it was a great location. The food was very good. I’ll post pictures. I had the bangers and mash and I did love them. My husband had the wings very tasty.
This establishment is truly wonderful and welcoming. It’s heartwarming to know they embrace furry companions, making travel so much more enjoyable for pet owners. We usually love this place — the food and drinks are always great, and that’s why this experience was so disappointing.One of the servers made us feel extremely uncomfortable. He kept giving us nasty looks, appeared to talk behind our backs on purpose, and while cleaning his section, he swept directly on top of my friend’s feet, which felt very disrespectful. The constant ugly looks and attitude made the whole situation awkward and unwelcoming. We’ve never had an experience like this here before, and it honestly took away from what is normally a great atmosphere. We still love the place, but this was by far the worst service experience we’ve had so far. Keep in mind we didn’t ask for him for nothing or spoke to him.

Nice pub to go to while visiting st Augustine. Paid parking or you can free park across the alley.
We got the Curry pub fries which were very tasty and good. For main course we got the Mac & cheese and it was really yummy! Cheese sauce was made really well!
A lot of places close at 9 so this was great to go late night

First time in St. Augustine and this was such a cool place to celebrate the evening. We sat outside and watched it rain. Enjoyed great food and great Irish Magner on draft. Fish and chips were phenomenal, they were perfectly fried. Shrimp and grits were also perfect. Waited less than 10 minutes for our food, and great service.
