This was the first time I ordered from Barley pizza and I have to say I was impressed. First it was a lot of food. Delivery was about 45 min and the food was still hot. Ordered 2 pizzas, chicken Alfredo (could easily feed 2), a medium Stromboli ( massive) and fried mushrooms. The family liked everything. I look forward to the next time we order.

I had the jerk pizza. The chicken off the pizza separately was very flavorful but it’s not enough to call the pizza “ jerk “. It doesn’t come together fully. Maybe a jerk sauce as a base would bring it together? The cheese pull was perfect! The crust is dry and lacks flavor.

I ordered a specialty pizza and fries. I said no cheese for the cheese fries because there was no option on the app for just fries.
They instead put no cheese on my pizza and refused to send out another one for free after I already paid $21 for the pizza. I didn’t eat the pizza, they said they would give me 25 percent off but I did not take it because I did not order a cheeseless pizza.

Gave this place a try after seeing their menu on my door and I’m very glad I did. I called to place a carry out order and was told it’d be ready in 15 minutes and it was ready in 15 minutes. The staff was very friendly. I ordered a large Hawaiian pizza and teriyaki wings and both were AMAZING! The pizza crust was the perfect, not too thick and not too thin. It had the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. And the toppings were really really good. The wings? Oh my goodness. Cooked perectly and not overcooked at all. The teriyaki sauce was really good and they wings were completely covered in it. They were very generous with it.

This Place fell off. Order a chicken ceasar Salad. Mind you I drive 30 mins as when it was Sunrise it was worth the drive I get it and it was wrong it had tuna fish on my Salad who does that cramp Tuna like really. I was very detail about what I wants on it. Called when o got home they remade it the next day wrong again. SO DONE WITH THIS PLACE. Wasted gas again 30 kins waste of Time. Be careful for hair also Ridiculous go to Altlas Pizza. I also found a Staple in my Salad Be careful and no one has called me back on this matter YET to get it resolved. Now is this how you conduct business NOOOOOOOOO. I learned my lesson after multiple attempts and still got it wrong. A Staple tho WOW

This is my favorite pizza place in Chesapeake. I always order my pizzas here, but these last 2 times I have been very disappointed. This was the pizza I received yesterday December 24. The taste was horrible, look at the chicken. I can’t believe it I’m super disappointed.

Barleys in E City is our favorite restaurant, so to come here with such horrible food and service was awful for the company name. From the moment we walked in the guy at the counter looked at us like we were a huge imposition being there, didn’t say a word of greeting or have any manners. He did not help the girl in the back running around to serve, prep, or cook. Later her called back to her referring to me as “the white lady up front need something.” Even worse was the food. The pizza dough was raw and the toppings were not fresh. We were so disgraced by our experience that I did not bother to bring the food issue to their attention. We wouldn’t have wanted to eat anything else after tasting that anyway, or had to deal with the nasty employee; pizza night was ruined. Will never go back.

What are the hours for this place? Because it’s clearly not accurate on google nor when you call them and their phone system lists their hours. Waited on the phone for over 10 minutes to place a pick up order when the system kept saying I was next in line to place my order, only to go over there and see that they were closed and no one was even there! Please update your google hours and your answering/phone system!! Also the online ordering system will take your money and say they’re preparing you order even if they’re closed, which has also happened to me.
