The food was delicious and fulfilling. Well worth the price you pay.
The sweet potato fries and aioli sauce they pair it with is an amazing combination as well. I was finished with that before I even started on my burger. Highly recommend getting that.
I got the big kahuna burger and I absolutely destroyed it once I started. Probably one of the better burgers I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth.
My family loved their food as well and we all decided we will be coming back to try more.
I wasn’t able to get a picture of the fried peppers but those were delicious as well. We pretty much finished it off as soon as it was placed on our table.
The waitstaff are very kind/polite and the atmosphere was very relaxed as well. Overall I very much recommend eating here.

First time here. Great experience. The server was friendly and helped me with my order. The burger bowl was delicious. The menu looked fantastic. The restaurant was pretty busy since it was a Friday afternoon. Nice outdoor patio area. There are also some TVs inside.

Stopped passing through on a road trip from Norfolk to Raleigh for dinner. Service was great…kind, attentive, and quick! Vibe was awesome. Loved the theme. Food, yes… Let’s get to the food. Fried pickles were great, the two sandwiches were also excellent! Great wedge side salad too. Napoleon Dynamite and the Ricky Bobby… You can’t go wrong. On the favorite list for the next road trip!

Not a bad place and not bad burgers. Fries were a bland and were undercooked. Bar drinks are really expensive and the menu seemed a little small but after getting the bad out out of the way, overall, the food we did get was delicious.

My Experience:
We stopped by Barley and Burger in Rocky Mount after a long day on the road. The place is decent, clean and conveniently located. My son got The Dude, a shaved prime rib sandwich with waffle fries, and I had the Burger Bowl. The food was okay overall, nothing bad, just average.
One small frustration was that the check was brought to our table before we had finished eating. Even though the server said, “no rush,” it still felt a bit like we were being nudged out, which can take away from the relaxed dining experience.
That said, the visit was fine for what we needed, a quick, convenient bite after a travel day.
Highlight: Good variety of menu options and a casual setting
Would I Return? Maybe, it’s a convenient option, but the experience was just okay.

Was on a road trip back to Pennsylvania from South Carolina and while we were on the road we stopped for something to eat and looked up what was close to us while we were on route 95 North. Originally Google maps took us to another location with another name and that place was closed which I’m glad it was because then I searched again for barley and Burger. We had ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and I got the chicken sandwich with pickles onions and lettuce and it came with a side which I ordered the waffle fries My husband ordered a burger which I don’t remember which one and he also got the waffle fries. We thought all the food was very good. Our server who was Sasha was awesome. We probably would go back if we were more local. The atmosphere was movie related.

Really good dinner and excellent service. We had three BYOB (build your own burgers) side salad and delicious fries. Riley was our server and she was great. We needed to eat quickly and she made sure we had our food and all we needed. Prices very reasonable. Great place for dinner.

If you have the opportunity to eat here, DO it! The food, service and fun atmosphere are fantastic! We had the fried banana peppers to start. We had never seen those on any menu before so had to try them and they did not disappoint! My hubby had “The Dude” and it was melt in your mouth delicious! I tried the “Ricky Bobby” and it was a hit. I wished I could’ve finished it. The onion rings and tater tots are winners, too! Look forward to being back in the area to eat here again or try one of their other two locations! Reasonably priced!

I was in Rocky Mount four nights and I ate here twice and was not disappointed. The burgers are delicious and I’ve never had tater tots that taste so darn good. Both nights my waitresses did an amazing job at ensuring I had what I needed when I needed it.
