Me & The Family went to the Foodee Festival expecting wonderful food & Barkleys BBQ was extremely Dissapointed. The greens were sour, The six Cheese Mac & Cheese was Bland. My Ribs were Burnt & not fully cooked. I was extremely unhappy due to the amount of Money that i paid to go home & not get to eat my food. Also, i had never seen Bricket served Shredded like that. I believe a Rebecca promised me that i would like it but it was extremely Dissapointed . I waited close to 50 minutes for this Combo platter that turned out to not be so good and i ended it up dumping it.

Barclay’s Barbecue advertises itself as having the “best soul food in Philly,” but unfortunately, my experience did not live up to that claim.
I visited Barclay’s Barbecue at the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival in Tampa on Saturday, February 14. The line was long, largely because the food smelled good and the signage was eye-catching. However, the wait and the final product were disappointing.
As a VIP ticket holder, I was entitled to a free barbecue plate from participating vendors. Every other vendor honored this without issue, but Barclay’s stated that the VIP ticket only covered $15 toward a plate, requiring additional payment. After waiting nearly an hour in line, this was unexpected and frustrating.
The food itself did not justify the extra cost. The barbecued meat was overly salty, while the macaroni and cheese and collard greens lacked flavor. To make matters worse, there was only one person taking orders, which significantly slowed the line. After ordering, I was given a pager and waited an additional 45 minutes for the food.
Overall, the experience was not worth the time or the money. I regret using my VIP ticket here and wish I had chosen another vendor.

I had the Brisket on a roll with beans and greens on the side. That was a great meal!!! The Brisket was full of flavor and a plus was the young lady who took my order. She was easy to deal with and so pleasant!!! A+++ Barkleys BBQ. I cannot wait to have your food again!!!!

Tried Barkleys Bbq today at the outlets and unfortunately I’m disappointed. I paid $50 for two platters and the portions are very small. I tried to order sauce on the side and you can’t. I ordered 1/2 slab of ribs with a side of greens and brisket. I barely got any brisket although it is seasoned well you get very little. Either you get ribs with sauce or without sauce smh. The greens are advertised as turkey smoked greens and I had literally a small scoop with no turkey. They taste like Glory greens and the yams with apples had no apples and they look and taste like Bruce’s yams. For what I paid I could’ve went to Mission Bbq and got more bang for my buck and a more flavorful meal. Tried to support but very disappointed.

Gloucester Premium Outlet Barkley’s BBQ Food Truck review. This is my 3rd time visiting this Barkley’s. 1st time they ran out of ribs. That’s a good and bad thing. Made me want to try them out. So when I was in heading back from AC I said let me stop and get some ribs. Order 1/2 slab for $22 including tax. There were 6 bones. One which was really small. They were really good, gave 1/2 to my wife and she enjoyed them as well. I give that visit 4 stars. This time on 8/31/23 I had off work and drove about 25 minutes to get some ribs and do some shopping. This time no bueno. They were not good this time. The were smoked but seemed undercooked. No sear or char on the ribs. They were also very short and fat, and fatty. Very disappointed. I give the food on this visit 2 stars. Note to owner, I would suggest not serving ribs of this quality. They were not good at all. I thought about complaining and returning but I didn’t want to be that guy. Overall I give the Food truck 3 Stars. Not sure If I would recommend them. Not sure if I would go back especially If I have a taste for BBQ. Still looking for the spot in the Philly area. Thought they were it. But they are not. One this day they were busy. I may have got a bad batch of ribs. I would say give them a try but temper your expectations.

My family stood in line for this food at Linvilla Orchard over a hour. Their grill had outside smelling AMAZING… BUT, as another said, I should’ve read the reviews 1st. The hype wasn’t worth the wait or cost. The Ribs are well cooked, however, the flavor was just ok, nothing to talk about. They can forever keep the mac and cheese, it’s awful. The baked beans were average 4.5/10, my sister said she liked the greens 7.5/10, nephew gave pulled pork a 7/10. The portions are for sure small and not worth the price.

5 Stars for a Food Truck. We were down near the Outlets by the Beach a few months back & saw a Food Truck gathering. It was the end of the day but we followed some delish smells. I was worried that we would get some dried out older meat at the end of the day but…..Nope…..it was so juicy & moist. The Family that ran is was still Friendly & Catted with us….even at the end of a long day. They were very proud of their product. Love supporting small businesses like this! Go grab some grub from them if you see their truck!!

The barbecue was not that bad it could have been better and I have had better, but the customer service was the worse. The lady at the cash register was so rude. When you have your own business sometimes you may need to take customer service classes and she’s definitely one that needs to be first in line. Just her rudeness made the visit not worth it.

Last weekend, I was at the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival. That is where I met the owner of Berkley’s BBQ. We talked about BBQ for a while. Then I had his BBQ!!! Most artists work with paints and clay. His guy works with meat!! I called him Picasso of BBQ. I had his pulled chicken, pulled pork, and spare ribs. All are awesome!!! Everything that is served is hot and homemade, including their sides. Only working the area for a while. I’m definitely going to visit their food truck.
