We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The staff were so kind and inviting. The latte and drip coffee were superb. It was one of the best lattes I have had in Lawrence. The breakfast burrito and verde salsa were paired well together. The burrito was hearty and great flavor. The chocolate croissant was buttery, flaky, and soft. Would highly recommend! Great atmosphere.

Delicious iced nitro apple cider. Great vibes, lots of tables but most of them taken up by 1 person each. Elegant vibe but still chill inside, perfect for studying / working. Heads up the kitchen closed at 3 even though they were still serving drinks so there weren’t any pastries or lunch food available.

Barker’s is an excellent breakfast option if you’re on Mass St. There’s a limited menu, but everything is top notch with some of the best pastries in town too. Get there early, get your order in, and enjoy your favorite coffee drink.

Finally made it to Barker bakery on Mass street to have some breakfast. It’s a nice and well thought out floor plan with a great atmosphere.
We ordered a Breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, lettuce mix on a croissant. It’s amazing as were the staff and service.
Order to plate time was perfect and the coffee was fresh and hot.
Bathrooms were clean and well maintained without the need for a keypad code.
Will return when in the area.

On a Monday mid-morning, I stopped in for a hot breve latte and a breakfast sandwich. The vibe was relaxing since it wasn’t packed, but had the typical coffee shop hum. The coffee was perfectly made and full of rich flavor. (Finally, a place that serves well-roasted espresso, not bitter, burnt beans!) For the locals, they do use Hildebrand diary products, so the flavor/quality of their dairy made drinks is excellent. After gazing at the mouth-watering pastries in the display case, I ordered a breakfast sandwich (see pic). I feel good about saying it was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had (and I’ve had quite a few over the years)! The egg was light and fluffy, the bacon crisp…all the flavors came together, and the croissant-like bun was delectable. This was my first visit to 1900 on Mass. I’ll definitely return, and I highly recommend that you also make this one of your new favorite spots.

We normally come for coffee because we love their iced mochas, but this time we also got a breakfast burrito and a fried chicken sandwich. Both were divine and we have been back since for food as well. Great place, great staff, delicious food and coffee.

Awesome coffee shop! Lots of seating and cool atmosphere. Coffee and drink selection had a good amount of variety – Got the Black Berry Bramble, which was super refreshing. Also, tried the Morning Bun, which was incredible as well. All of the other pastries looked great as well.
