This is such a cute place! Great coffee and had a chocolate banana smoothie- they were able to modify it so it was vegan because it typically comes with milk and whipped cream- but they have 2 non-dairy milks. The staff was very nice and I will go back whenever I’m in the area- highly recommend, just a lovely small town vibe.

I stopped for coffee. The coffee was very good, and the prices were fair. The service was also excellent. What I really liked the most, was the atmosphere and the friendliness of all the patrons. It is clear that there are a lot of returning customers. From what I could tell, the food was really good and the prices are fair. The indoor and outdoor seating is very comfortable.

Hard to beat Barista’s Coffee House when visiting Houston, MN. Co-owners Chelsey Vix and Marissa Bailey just celebrated two years of ownership, are very friendly and brew great coffee and espresso drinks in a super cozy atmosphere. Barista’s also offers tasty sandwiches, soups and other treats. Loved the recommended Denver Panini with a piping hot latte. Lively atmosphere with many repeat customers too. Pros: cute, friendly, clean, fast, good variety for non-coffee drinkers, clearly popular place for locals
Cons: espresso is not good (both the bean and the brew were a problem), mocha is made from powder mix (you can see the remnants in the bottom of my cup), they don’t know traditional coffee house beverages (breves, miels, macchiatos, etc.)

My wife and I enjoy stopping at independent coffee shops when traveling. Barista’s Coffee House did not disappoint. We both got cold coffee drinks that were delicious. Did not try any of the food but it did look amazing. Owner was very friendly.
Update, we went back and ordered a chicken salad wrap and was not disappointed, delicious!

We stopped here for coffee and lunch after visiting the Owl Center. Very cute place with a great menu! We all hand hot sandwiches and ate every bite. My mom said it was the best cup of coffee she’s ever had!
