This is a beautifully designed space with the largest garage door you’ve ever seen for nice-weather lounging. It’s thoughtfully designed for people who want to come for a coffee with a friend or a work session. They’ve thought of every detail, and I particularly appreciate (as an architect) that even the mechanicals and the conduit layout is beautiful. The cups have custom artwork, the tables have custom engravings. It’s just nice.

Aside from that, there were some downsides. There was only one person working when we went and it was throttling how many people could be served — it took us about 15 minutes to get through the line and another 10 to get served.

The coffee was great, the food was nothing to write home about but satisfying. We were happy with the food options of various light, hot breakfasts.

Overall: wonderful. I would say if you’re looking for working vibes or want a relaxed breakfast with a friend, this is a great choice. Just me aware that it may not be quick, even though the aesthetic makes it seem like it ought to be.

Honestly one of the few coffee spots in Nashville that doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. The space is clean but not sterile, and the music was actually good (not just lofi beats or random jazz). I got a bourbon vanilla latte and a sausage biscuit… both hit. Prices are a little high but it’s worth it for the vibe and the quality.

Sat at the counter for a while to do some email stuff, and no one rushed me out. Staff was nice but chill, like they don’t fake-smile at you which I actually prefer lol. Easy 5 stars.

I tried to make this my go-to place. But the price vs experience balance is not great. The coffee is good and expensive. The service is often slow, there are usually part of the coffee menu that are not available (especially pour overs), and the kitchen is not predictably open. The overall feeling is that customers should feel lucky to be served.

I recently visited this place hoping to enjoy a delicious flat white. Unfortunately, my experience fell short due to poorly steamed milk. The texture and taste of the milk were far from ideal, lacking the creamy smoothness expected in a well-made flat white. While the coffee itself was decent, with a rich flavor, the disappointing milk preparation overshadowed the overall experience. If you’re particular about a flawlessly crafted flat white, I would recommend exploring other coffee shops in the area.

Innovative and delicious coffee with excellent food set in a 70’s style auto shop! You should go here.

The specially roast was the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had (trail mix at the time), and the biscuit breakfast sandwich was delicious! A solid pairing while listening to music from classic vinyl or 8 track tapes (from the owners personal collection).

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Parking was available in the adjacent lot (for a fee) and there’s free street parking nearby.

Best chai lattes here — seriously spiced and love the atmosphere of the place! The negative is they charge for sweetener (chai comes unsweetened) and the place is PERPETUALLY understaffed by at least two people. There needs to be someone on the register while the others focus on coffee and running. I’ve never seen such laid-back lack of hustle (and no shade to the individuals they are friendly) but had to wait 45 mins for one coffee.

If you’re looking to spend $9 on coffee, look no further because this will be the best coffee your money can find. Don’t go by the chic decor and casual atmosphere, because when it comes to coffee, they mean business and they know what they’re doing.

The barista suggested I try his favorite Bourbon Vanilla and I of course went with the house favorite (iced) and didn’t regret. Coffee was great! Lots of sunlight in the indoor seating area. The tables aren’t congested/crammed, they give you enough space if you just want to sit quiet and work on something, or write or draw.

Wifi password at the moment is ‘daredevil’ in case it’s hard to spot; it’s located where you place the order. Though I should warn, it was not strong at least today — not sure if it was a one-off.

Lots of parking at the back lot, with first 90 mins complimentary. Street parking is also available.

It’s pet-friendly, so don’t be surprised when you spot a cute dog sniffing you when you’re placing an order.

Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re in Nashville. If you live here, haven’t you been there already?

Nice cafe with European decor. Lots of cool looking merch that would make for nice gifts.

I went there for the CBD drinks but they ran out. Sad. Their cold brew was still pretty good though. It had a hint of sweetness to it that I haven’t tasted in other cold brews.

Overall, great place for your caffeine fix and also to get a little work done.

I had a great experience here. If I’m honest, I tend to stray away from the original Barista Parlor because I’ve never really felt cool enough to be there. Glad to say that it was not the same experience at the Germantown location. There’s a great vibe here, the coffee is wonderful and everyone that was working here were great. I’ll definitely be coming back. The only things I’d note if you’re not familiar with BP are that it’s neither the cheapest nor the fastest coffee shop in town so bear that in mind if you’re in a rush. Its worth the wait if you’ve got the time though.

Visiting from out of town, and this was a fun stop. Really neat atmosphere, including a record player and 8-track player where you can select your own tunes! They have a very small food selection, and it’s fine. Nothing special. But the coffee was good. Great merch, too!
