Atmosphere is SOOO CUTE. Very nice servers and amazing hostess/ servers. They’re very attentive and kind. They have games while you’re waiting and so many cute picture spots. Food is REALLY GOOD, I LOVE thier milkshakes and love coming here.

This was my first time at this particular restaurant. What I will tell everyone is the food was great as well as the service. I ordered the my sunshine burger (veggie) with the mixed fries (regular &sweet potatoes). Needless to say I was unable to eat the entire burger. Try this place for yourself.

100/100. The Christmas decorations alongside their normal decor (perfect for 90’s babies/nerds) is amazing, my wife loved it.
The food is exactly what I wanted. Fun sauces, good sides/shareables, great truffle fries (everyone has them, not every one is good though, these are great) and a good solid burger.
Johnn was great. So helpful for first timers, playful, funny, knowledgeable, and patient with my older parents.
Will come back if I am in the area!

I usually don’t leave reviews unless the experience is really good or really bad, but unfortunately my visit to Bareburger in Rockville fell into the second category. I came in expecting a casual, enjoyable meal, but instead walked away shocked and disappointed. The biggest issue? I was actually served what I believe was expired beer. That’s not just a small mistake — it’s completely unacceptable for any restaurant or bar, especially a brand with the reputation that Bareburger is supposed to have.
The waiter honestly wasn’t the problem here. He did his best to handle the situation, and I could tell he felt awkward because there wasn’t much he could personally do. But the fact that something like this happened in the first place points to a much bigger issue with how this location is being managed. It makes me question how carefully they’re checking dates on their drinks, and it definitely makes me wonder about the overall attention to detail in their kitchen as well.
A customer should never have to second-guess whether what they’re served is safe or fresh. Bareburger Rockville really dropped the ball on this one, and it turned what should have been a fun, easy dining experience into a complete disappointment. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, because if they can’t guarantee quality and safety with something as basic as a beer, it doesn’t inspire confidence in the rest of the menu.

The decor was super cute, the restaurant was clean, the waitress was so friendly and helpful & the food was delicious!
The lunch combo was a great deal and next time i am in the area, i will definitely go back!

I’ve recently stopped eating beef and chicken, so I was excited to explore their plant-based selections. I decided to try the “My Sunshine” burger, which features a sweet potato, kale, and wild rice patty, avocado, curly kale, organic tomato, and spicy green goddess dressing.
While I wanted to like it, I wasn’t a fan. The combination didn’t work for me, particularly the hot avocado—it just felt like eating a bunch of mush. That texture didn’t sit well with me at all. This isn’t a knock on Bareburger overall, but more of a heads-up for anyone new to plant-based eating: if you’re transitioning from meat, you might want to start with something a bit more familiar, like their Impossible Burger, which I’ll probably try next time.
On a positive note, the fries were solid. Crispy, flavorful, and they gave a decent portion, which is always appreciated.
All in all, Bareburger remains a great spot with a lot to offer. Just be mindful when experimenting with new burger styles—it might take a few tries to find the one that suits your taste.

Bare burger is amazing overall but this location always hits different! The vibe the energy here the customer service ‘ the music ‘ it’s always super clean’ food is delicious. I’ve been coming here for years now and it never disappoints. I come in sometimes just to unwind work away from my office and indulge in a mouth watering milkshake! Thanks guys for always providing a1 service ‘ can’t get enough of this place❤️

I’ve known Muluska and Woody from years ago when Barebuger first open up on Merrick Road and after years they are still kind and courteous. James a wonderful manager does an excellent job and is very hard working. They always strive to please the customer
