Everything about this place was fantastic, beginning with our host, our server, AJ, and even the large party adjacent to us. The food was smoked and seasoned well, not hiding behind the sauce for flavor. My brisket was so tender that it fell apart, and my baked potato was perfect. The prices on the menu were appropriate. I will definitely be returning. It was well worth the trip from Baltimore.

Huge fan of Bare Bones! I love being able to enjoy/support a locally-owned restaurant that consistently delivers on flavor AND service. Some of my favorites include the butter beans (absolutely delicious – give them a try), the corn fritters, and the BBQ chicken! My husband loves the bone-in ribeye pork chop and the French onion soup. The restaurant also has an awesome private room with a TV, perfect to book for larger parties! We just celebrated my bestie’s 40th in there and the staff was so accommodating (thank you so much, Zach!) Can’t say enough about awesome newer ownership with Sunny, too – perfect blend of interior upgrades/menu refreshes while still delivering on the classics!

We went on a Sunday around 5pm. The bar area is huge with seating at the bar and seating through out. The dining area is away from the bar. Service in the bar area was slow. The food was ok. I ordered a caesar salad, crab cake and baked potatoes. The potato wasn’t baked it was either microwaved or boiled whole. Baked potatoes are usually served in foil with coarse salt on the outside. This was not. The crab cake was meaty but lacked seasoning.

So glad we finally made it to Bare Bones! Had the crab cakes and fish n chips. Everything was wonderful! The fries were (chef’s kiss)! We came on a Wednesday and it was trivia night! So much fun! Talked to Sunny (the owner) and he was very personable! Will definitely come back!

Ordered through the website and had an item missing on delivery. Order was placed through Barebones Spoton service but was delivered by Doordash. (Theres a reason I dont use Doordash) So I call and end up speaking with the manager who says I have to speak with Doordash, after I debated why. Called doordash and they ended up saying I had to speak with the restaurant because they took the order and money, like I didnt already know this. Called restaurant back and asked for the manager who remembered me and just said the forgot the item and they’re bringing it. (I had already told the to just refund it) So this was already about 730 pm and I didnt feel like arguing anymore, just wanted to eat the dinner that was sitting for 20 minutes. No one ever showed up with my item, nor did anyone call back. Beware when u order online for delivery, they getcha. Oh, also, after my first call with the manager I mentioned the latest the bag was wide open at delivery and probably the reason something was missing, to which he replied, we dont seal the bags…

Been here before and it was fine. But tried to order online today and just could not. On the phone it was never possible to see the details of my order, but I took the risk and hit the big button, but it simply didn’t work. So, I tried my laptop. There, it was impossible to scroll through the options on a given menu item. Since I couldn’t make an order, I gave up.

Came it to Barebones after a long hiatus ( 14 yrs). Place has completely changed. Mich more modern feel especially in the bar area which has TVs everywhere and would be a great place to watch a game. The food was delicious. The highlight was the half and half crab soup. It hit all the flavors and was the perfect dish for a cold night. Ther service was friendly, accommodating for our large party, and very attentive. Overall, it was a great atmosphere and experience. I am definitely coming back.

Went for the prime rib and it was good but they served it with a huge piece of fat that must have been at least 20% of the weight of my 16oz prime rib. I’m actually shocked that they served that to a customer. All else was good except for the fact that they charge extra for credit cards for some reason, like they don’t charge enough for food these days.

Sunie was an exceptional waitress and the food was delicious and the service from Sunie and others was awesome. The atmosphere was nice in the beginning but as it got busier, it became overwhelming loud even with ear plugs and the lighting, and echoing.
