I don’t know if it might’ve been a bad day for our waitress, or she just had something against us, but the service was quite terrible. asked for our appetizer to be brought with the food, completely disregarded that, and we did make that completely clear. The way that the transaction at the end was handled was quite unprofessionally, no waitress should be standing over somebody’s shoulder, watching them hit what percentage of tip. And overall, there is no kindness or warmth, and this degrading tone, opposite of how a waitress should conduct herself.
And at one point the kitchen, staff were yelling, don’t know why, but it caught everyone off guard and was alarming.
Again, don’t know if it’s always like that, but that is experience we had. Hopefully, it is always not like that, Because the food was amazing, service was not so great.
The only downside to this restaurant was the flies, they were flying around and trying to land on food/people. They seem to be aware of the issue and have some table top fly spinners.

Tonight was a great experience on the patio. Loved the fish and chips and sweet potato fries, panzanella salad, and salmon. Disappointed they were out of the banana pudding thing because it sounded awesome. The carrot cake was ok, not great, not bad. The cheese board was good except the bread, just plain bread.
The service was awesome, my server checked in on me the perfect amount.
I was able to ask for a table outside which had a great view. It was a bit load but nothing that wouldn’t be expected when busy.
The inside seating is beutiful too, Ill have to sit inside next time.
They have a very wide selection of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Just an over all great experience, and good way to end a night before going home.
Did the Inland Restaurant Week menu this time. We really enjoyed the unique offerings. The first courses were fantastic and huge. Especially the Corn Panna Cotta. My youngest wants the recipe. The second/main courses needed a bit more seasoning and sauces, which were delicious, just not enough sauce. The third course/desserts were overall very good and unique. Although my husband would’ve preferred a regular root beer float. We will be adding the Bardenay restaurant week experience to our list each year now.
The bun on my vegetarian sandwich was super soft (which I love) and my son said they were the best steak tacos he’s ever had (note: these are the first steak tacos he’s ever had, but he really loved them).
Love that this is a staff owned company. One of the staff even made their new host stand! It was really nice and I was admiring it which is how I came upon that piece of information.
Our server was super friendly (his name was Michael) and we also interacted with another server named Dylan. They were both incredible and I hope if you stop by you get to meet them.
The views are amazing too, so if you’re on a wait at 8pm on a Sunday night like we were, go enjoy the ducks at the water like we did.
