Reviews
I’ve been going to Barcode The Lounge for quite a long time, and they’ve even catered food for a few of my parties. The food quality has never dropped—in fact, it just keeps getting better day by day.
Both Amirs are amazing, and their customer service is truly fantastic. Their main focus is always on quality and customer experience, and it really shows.
If you’re looking to try high-quality Persian food and pizza, this place should be at the very top of your list. Their Kabab Kubideh, Chicken Kabab, and Persian Pizza are absolutely number one!
• The Food: The Barcode Pizza was a massive hit, it reminded our friends of the authentic pizza they get back home in Iran. The Vegetarian Pizza was flavorful and loaded with toppings, and the Grilled Chicken Salad was incredibly fresh and tasty.
• The Service: The owners are truly the nicest people. They kept checking on us throughout the night to make sure we were taken care of.
Amazing food and even better hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
• Pizza: As shown in the first photo, the pizza looked promising when it arrived. However, the brisket smelled and tasted as though it had been stored in an old fridge for far too long. The dough was clearly pre-made and tasted cheap, while the cheese had an unpleasant, low-quality flavor. After just one and a half slices, we gave up, as seen in the second photo where the pizza remained largely untouched.
• Fries: These were equally disappointing—bland and of very low quality.
I shared my concerns with the waiter, Amir (who I believe is the owner), but all he said was “sorry.” It felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Adding to the disappointment, the restaurant seemed to be filled with the owner’s friends, which makes the glowing reviews online highly questionable.
Overall, we won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to others. Save your time and money!
On a previous visit, the server also asked me to leave the tip in cash, which was unprofessional.
I’m giving this place two stars only because of the quality of the food; otherwise, the rating would be lower. A lounge should create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere along with good food, and unfortunately the service here doesn’t deliver that.
Visiting from out of town and craving some Persian food. This place did not disappoint.
I ordered a koobideh combo with rice and salad. They gave me plenty of sumac on the side.
Flavor profile on the meat was immaculate. So tender and rich. Rice was a soft texture and paired well with the dish. Even the salad and dressing was top tier!! Entirely hit the spot for my craving. Baklava was so succulent! No complaints at all.
Hookah was good too. I ordered citrus mint and it didn’t disappoint.
Lastly, the service. There were two people taking care of me. My coals never expired and I was checked on frequently.
Vibe was awesome too! I loved the decor. Energy was great, even on a Sunday.
I’m from out of town so I don’t know when I’ll make it back. But when I do, I’ll be back at Barcode.
Don’t walk… RUN here. Epic experience.
